Food was middling. I think it could have been great if it had still been hot.
I was especially impressed with how many Scotch Eggs came in an order, but again they were just lukewarm. (Not pictured but there were 6 pieces/3 full eggs.)
Pretzel bites made an attempt to be salted, but missed the mark.
Clam Chowder Soup and Irish Stew were pretty good. I’d try both again.
Honestly the biggest things working against this place, and yes I’ll sound like a whiny old person here, was it was too loud and too cold. I had to shout to talk to my husband and the fans were running so hard in there that it was blowing napkins and papers off our table.
If the volume and ceiling fans could have been knocked back like 20% and food temperature upped accordingly, I could have reviewed it higher.

Loud but fun. Waitress funny, quick witted, can easily dish it out, Abbie B was our waitress I reccomend her. Don’t play Christmas Music in October, (my daughter did) lol.

Food is just eh. But the nice part is 68 cent wings on Wednesday. Wings are fried, prefer grilled but still decent. Sauces are meh. Drinks are good. Burger was ok. Overall, relatively affordable prices which is pretty good.

I found the Asian flavors mixed with the Irish flavors to be off putting.
The deviled eggs tasted like horseradish. The Guinness BBQ chicken sandwich was decent except the sauce tasted like overdone onions and ruined the sandwich for me.
We also got the Reuben egg rolls. My friend liked them but not for me. I found the meet flavor to be too heavy.
I appreciate the Irish pub feel and our server was bright and bubbly.
I would prefer more traditional Irish flavors at an Irish pub, imo.

We wanted to grab a bite before seeing a movie and stopped by Mickey’s. Delicious burgers!!
Anna was our waitress and she was so sweet and gave us some wonderful and fast service.

We love this place. The best soups, great ambience, wide selection and reasonably priced. Bathrooms are a bit small, but that is everything downtown IC. Weather grabbing Grubb or relaxing after a long day’s work, it’s an epic spot. If you need more accessibility, quieter vibe, or only interested in the food, they have another location in North liberty just as superb.

I came in after work to grab a drink and watch the Bears game. I grabbed the only seat left at the packed bar and Brett took such good care of me! Not just me but I watched as he took care of me and everyone else with customer service skills that were top notch!!!!! The food was great and my drink stayed full.

Door dashed to the hotel. I’m a big Reuben fan and this one didn’t disappoint. Obviously a lot of work went in and it shows. I got the blackened salmon wrap to try also excellent. Packaging was great everything was hot.
