Upon entering, saw big red sign reading “make sandwich a combo for $1”. When we got to the register, we asked the cashier if the deal applied, and if it was indeed a $1 upcharge for the combo. The cashier said “its 2.67 off the price, it doesn’t really make sense”. We couldn’t find the combo price on the menu, and asked what the specific price would be for the combo with the specific sandwich we were trying to order. The cashier rudely replied “I dont know, you gotta ask a mathematician”. We waited for a moment, assuming she was joking and would offer the information we were asking about. She didnt, and we asked if she was being serious that we had to look up the prices and do the math ourselves. She stated that she was “43 years old, and I really dont care”. We turned to leave and she said “oh thats great, you just made my day”. We asked for her name (amy) and the store number, and were met with a barrage of sarcastic remarks and mocking.
We are regular Jimmy John’s customers and have never had an employee be this unhelpful or rude.
