I ordered the signature lo mein with beef and shrimp combo. The lo mein tasted fine, the shrimp was good, and the beef was cooked well and tender, but it was a bit underseasoned for my taste. The veggies were okay. My girlfriend got the miso glazed salmon which was the better dish of the two. The glaze was really good and the veggies soak in it. Pro tip: pour the sauce over the white or brown steamed rice that comes with it, it makes a big difference. Portion sizes were solid for both dishes, definitely enough food. The bill came out to around $60 before tip, so expect around $30-40 per person.
The interior is clean with a nice dimly lit atmosphere, black and red aesthetic, and warm lighting. There’s a big painting of an Asian lady with a sword right at the entrance below the bar, which sets the vibe. We had no wait time and were seated quickly. We even asked for a sofa seat and they were able to accommodate us, which was nice. The music was at a comfortable volume where you could talk without shouting.
Service was fine. Our server came by quickly and the food came out fairly fast, but nothing particularly exceptional.
For parking, it’s a bit more limited around Fairfax Circle. You’ll either need to find a parking lot or parallel park, but the parallel spots are pretty big. You might need to walk a few minutes, but the area has some cool stores to look around so it’s a nice little walk.
Management walks around too early and does just a generic check up.
