Great cafe for our breakfast. Friendly and attentive staff with great service. My wife had the chicken fried steak and it was the best one that she’s ever had. I had the meatlovers omelette and it was really good. The pecan cinnamon roll is amazing. Coffee was good too, especially for cafe coffee. The only complaint I have was the hash browns weren’t cooked enough. (They were almost raw) Otherwise I definitely recommend.

Very good food! My husband got the Gouda Mac & Cheese and he said he would recommend it. Very creamy, appropriate portion, gouda cheese is a great choice for Mac &Cheese.
I had the corned beef hash w/pancake. The hash is real corned beef! But the pancake is always how i judge a breakfast place, and it was delicious! Slight crisp to the edges that I really liked! Good flavor to the pancake also! Stepped up a notch!
But you MUST get the pecan roll!! It is huge, So it will last for days! But it is worth the trip!

The food was great. Ordered the Big Texas breakfast and the Ultimate Breakfast omelette, both with Biscuits and Gravy!
The place was clean and quiet. The server was wonderful and prompt and efficient.
The price is normal for breakfast.
Next time in the area we will definitely stop here.

We had a nice experience here, was greeted at the door in a wonderful way. Very classic breakfast food, however a little on the bland side. Our only real qualms were that we initially asked for some orange juice and got an extra hot cocoa instead (which tasted amazing but they don’t have to-go cups…), we asked for burnt toast and didn’t get it, and lastly there wasn’t enough gravy for our biscuits, by a lot. The country-fried steak was good though, despite being pretty small.

My husband and I were debating between Rustlers Roost and Elmer’s for breakfast. So I randomly picked Jimmy’s. It was our first time there and it will definitely not be the last. The food was beyond delicious. I expected regular diner breakfast but was pleasantly surprised that the food was better than my expectations walking in. The chicken and waffles with pecans and caramel drizzle was perfect. I got it with two eggs to help balance out the sweetness. The famous pecan roll is divine. Such fluffy texture and perfect crunch from the pecans and caramel. Love the hometown diner feel to the place, and our waitress (I forgot her name ♀️) was such a peach! I loved her in her new blue snowflake dress and pinup hairstyle. She greeted us with a smile and checked up on us just the right amount.

The first thing that comes to mind any our breakfast at Jimmy’s is the excellent service. I fly know how they managed to find such friendly staff but they did it.
I had crepes with strawberries which was outstanding. So so good.
Their biscuits are as big as a plate and even the coffee is yummy.

This looked and sounded like a fun (and delicious) place from the outside of the building and seeing it on DDD. I couldn’t help wondering if it was just hype, but decided I had to try it since I was in town and happened to be staying about a block away.
It did not disappoint. The decor was fun and amusing, the service (Kayla) was attentive and with pleasure, and the food was excellent. The portions are HUGE, so if you think its expensive, consider that a $9 caramel pecan roll is equal to about 4 full size regular rolls, and the meals easily feed two. Absolutely a delightful experience and would highly recommend.
