Someone said if u pass through Baton Rouge or New Orleans make sure to try some Beignets. We did and we absolutely loved them!! Delicious fresh, light n fluffy and powdered sugar coated heavenly fritters! We even brought some home to Texas! Give it a try and u won’t regret it. Coffee Call had great ambience and good food!

I wanted some coffee. Djuana found this place in Baton Rouge. Always game and sometimes skeptical we cruised in. I immediately noticed that this was a gathering place with locals talking, drinking coffee and eating beignets. 50 % full. We didn’t know how it worked, but we got in line. There were cups and urns with several types of hot coffee, hot chocolate and cafe au lait. We poured and moved along the counter. I noticed a man who was cranking out Beignets and Beignet Fingers. His name was Claron (sp?) and he was the Heart of this place! Dishing up mounding servings of Beignet fingers with a positive energy, insuring everyone got a full measure!!! Naturely after seeing everyone with this treat and Clarons servings, we ask for a serving of his fingers. We paid out and made our way to bar seating. The Beignets Fingers and Café Au Lait were both deliciously hot… Just right. And the taste, perfect!
The place had a constant stream of folks coming in on a weekday morning!!!

I will tell you this… If you need coffee or beignets. Go see Claron at Coffee Call. You will not be disappointed!!! 5/5⭐’s.

Such a delightful café with French-style pastries called beignets — they’re absolutely heavenly! You can easily spend the whole day here; it’s a perfect spot for freelancers, collaborations, or just relaxing with a cup of coffee. The vibe is cozy and inspiring, and the beignets are out of this world. Plus, it’s open until 10 p.m. — such a lovely place to spend an evening here in Louisiana ✨

The best beignets ! In my opinion, the texture is a bit chewy a little bit resembles modo. We stopped by twice to get the beignets during our trip to Louisiana. Recommended !!

Time to close down a day and clean the store. Make us proud to bring an out of town guest. Do better. You don’t notice things, but we do. If prices have to increase a little to cover it, we won’t stop coming.
Thks however for keeping taste and food quality consistent all these years. Delicious beignets! A great family coffee call. It’s very unique because even the kids love it.

My grandmother used to bring me here as a kid and I always loved it. I returned with my wife and daughter for a little dose of nostalgia. Definitely not disappointed. Same charm and quality from when I was a kid. Definitely my go to stop in Baton Rouge for beignet’s and ice coffee.

Like the beignet here. But some recently visiting made me disappointed.
I bought a chilli soup and I just want a bowl to heat it up. The cashier lady Linsey (I dont know name spell correct or not) tell me to wait for her to finish customer line (long line) behind me, then she will get me a bowl. This is not the first time she did it to me. Why she couldn’t grab a bowl for me immeadiatly? Is is because I’m an Asian? Complained to supervisor and have the answer that they are busing so that they cant get a bowl. I have to ask another girl to get me that bowl.
No respect, no come back
