Food amazing. Service vibes were OFF.
As soon as I walked in the folks up front started scrambling and sort of arguing about who would “take” me. So I waited for someone else to come around while the original group were still talking about how busy they were with something else.
My server was passive aggressive. To me, but then to the table behind me where I actually turned around to confirm what my ears were hearing. So I think there is some top-down vibes that are translating to the staff. It sucked.
In the end I asked what kind of dessert options they had. She said “were more of a breakfast spot”. So I just looked online and people say this place is known for it’s hot chocolate. I see Nutella crepes on the menu. I’m just so shocked that making me feel stupid was more important than upselling anything at all, or God forbid just being kind.
I would have loved to try the hot chocolate.

Amazing! Sopa Benedict was so filling and delicious. My latte was better than any standalone coffee shop. Orange juice was fresh squeezed. Friendly atmosphere and great service! The amount of food you get for the price was on point. Highly recommend!

The parking lot wasn’t full so I assumed that we’d have a long wait but upon entering my party of 3 was seated immediately at a table. The waitress was nice and she made suggestions to help with pricing. We ordered a la carte but she suggested meals that were the same items, smaller portions, and less money. KUDOS TO HER!
The food was great! I ate everything on my plate! The little ones raved about the shakes and blue drink they had. Everything was fresh and good. I would go back here in a heartbeat.

Honey Jam Café is such a gem. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and comforting without feeling heavy! everything tastes like it’s made with care. The menu has great variety, whether you’re craving breakfast, brunch, or lunch, and the portions are generous.
The service really stands out too. The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. It’s one of those places you can go for a casual meal but still feel taken care of.

My daughter and I were in the area and needed fuel lol wedding shopping can do that to you. We looked up places near by since we aren’t from the area and decided to hit this place up. Huge place and can accommodate big parties and lots of people. We went on a Sunday morning around 11am. Pretty packed but we were seated right away. I read a few reviews that said the food came out so fast it was almost as fast as fast food, and they weren’t lying. Like the waitress just left our table and within less then 20 minutes she was out with our food. Very clean place, nice touch of decor. I am giving everything 5 star (atmosphere and service)but not the food, sadly it looks better then it tastes. It lacks flavor in all aspects. It wasn’t nasty but it wasn’t flavorful, we ordered the Mexican Bagel Sammie, Artichoke Eggs Benedict and Cream cheese French toast (probably the best tasting) not much cream cheese though to be part of the name. The coffee was great which it usually isn’t in places like this. It was fresh and not to light or heavy! I am disappointed and maybe we just got the wrong menu items.

Always have a good experience when we come. Our server, Barbie, was amazingly sweet and attentive. Came for a birthday breakfast and she made the experience so thoughtful. Food was delicious, as usual.

I have been here 3 times, twice I have had the server Barbie. She is by far the best server I have had at any restaurant ever. She is so full of life and happiness, she goes above and beyond to make your dining experience the best. Her vibe is impeccable, she seems like she loves her job. Her makeup and hair are always super cute and fun which makes sense because her personality is also super cute and fun. I truly go to this location because of Barbie.

This has become my favorite breakfast spot every time we stay in Downers Grove. My husband ordered blueberry pancakes w/turkey sausage and home fries. I had an egg white omelette with peppers/onions, tomatoes, spinach and cheese, side of bacon. Everything was DELISH and our server Yolanda was a sweetheart ❤️ Stop by you won’t be disappointed
