For the last 20 years, PaulosBBQ Steakhouse has had the pleasure of providing customers with delicious, eclectic and authentic Portuguese & Brazilian Cuisine. It is those same customers that have help mold our foundational goals, and more importantly, our daily mission to provide exceptional cuisine and unmatched service. These same principals have been the backbone of our establishment, and now under new ownership, those same principals are ever evolving to ensure that all customer needs are met with the upmost priority. In this new chapter of our history we are developing a unique experience of Steakhouse in South Plainfield with a variety of meats, good ambience and great service.

We had an amazing experience at Paulo’s! The food was delicious and full of authentic Brazilian flavor. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we felt right at home. Our server, João, was incredibly friendly and attentive. He made great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be coming back!

I visited this amazing Brazilian restaurant and was blown away! The place is beautiful, cozy, and full of great energy, the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious lunch/dinner. The barbecue was outstanding, with top-quality cuts of meat cooked to perfection, and the shrimp was simply divine!
The service was exceptional in special to Matheus, João, and Ricardo who were amazing, friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish.

This has been one of the best Rodizio spots in NJ. The meat the they came out here was amazing. Most of it comes out medium rare but they can come back for medium well (and maybe more). The piccanha is the best that have out of all of them. We also went here for a birthday and the staff took care of us. I definitely would come back here in the near Future.

I had the Rodizio at Paulo’s Brazilian BBQ and it was excellent! The meats were flavorful, perfectly cooked, and kept coming. The sangria was also delicious and paired really well with the meal. Great atmosphere, attentive service, and definitely worth the drive from the Bridgewater/Somerville area. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great Brazilian BBQ experience!

I flew back to NJ and really want to go here and eat me and my husband would go here all the time when we lived here we loved Paulo and his family so as much as we want things to stay the same they don’t its been 6 years and Paulo sold the place and moved to Flemington anyway. The food was ok they kept something but got rid of some of our favorites the bartender Joe was wonderful and the Manager so nice he came out and thanked us for coming in.

We had a wonderful time at Paulos BBQ Steakhouse! The restaurant has a warm, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and attentive. A special thank-you to our amazing server Joao and Willian they was incredibly professional, kind, and made sure everything was perfect for our meal. The highlight of the dining was when they surprised our child by singing a birthday song, which made the celebration extra special. The food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. Highly recommend this place for both great meals and memorable experiences!

I’ve come to this restaurant on numerous occasions but never really ordered anything because I don’t eat meat “pause” and I just assumed that they wouldn’t do anything vegan. I was so wrong and reviewed the menu with hesitation but I found the vegetarian section, very very limited but I decided to give it try and I so happy that I did. One of the best vegetarian dishes I’ve ever had and I’m so happy that I gave it a try and you should too if you don’t any meat. If you’re vegetarian give this place a try. Top 5 Dish
