We enjoyed our dinner here. We split an appetizer salad and it was good. The crispy chicken was still warm and the cornbread croutons were something I’ve never had before. 100% would order that again.
The steak and fries was also good . My beef was perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly how I asked. I didn’t eat the fries because they were too small to pick up with your fingers or fork and not very good.
My companion ordered the ribeye and was a little bit disappointed because it had literally no fat on it, hence he said no flavor . I tasted it and thought it was pretty good though. The mashed potatoes were delicious.
We skipped on dessert and had cappuccino. It was exactly as it should be.
I would definitely return to this restaurant . The staff was very friendly and prompt. Our server was attentive.

Been here at this location a few times and the service continues to be exceptional. Especially last night!!! Our server was amazing (didn’t catch her name) and a couple managers stopped by our table to ask how everything was which I loved, and the FOOD . I had the Thai Kai salad with chicken added and it has now become my favorite! So fresh and tasty and the sauce/dressing was perfect. I had a side of the Not Your Ordinary Mac and cheese, superb. And obviously the best carrot cake ever 🙂 my sis had the chocolate cake and the fried chicken platter. we were there for a friend’s belated birthday dinner. Thanks again and will be back!

Our rib dinner came out faster than our food at Micky Dee’s. The ribs were fall off the bone, the fries were a crisp shoestring and the coleslaw was cream with a unique sweetness. We had a piece of the carrot cake too and it was warm and the frosting was a light wiped cream cheese that paired well with the moist cake.

Our first time here and our food was a 10/10. We ordered calamari, spinach & queso dip, English chowder, 2 espresso martinis, lemon roasted chicken and steak and fries for a total of $150 not including tip. They gave us large portions and everything tasted fresh. Our food came out very quickly and everything was hot. Our appetizers came out within 10 minutes of ordering. The service was outstanding, they package your meals to go as well. We had a great time here, the atmosphere was great and we really enjoyed the food. The only downside was having to wait an extra 15- 20 minutes with our reservation.

Feb 2026, or Server Dakota was fabulous, he took great care of our table, and I made sure the Manger knew that Dakota was fabulous. OMG! The food was delicious. The Prime Rib (medium rare) was cooked to perfection. My other friend ordered the Shrimp dinner, and she enjoyed every bite, and the Shoe String Fries. We ended with coffee that was freshly made and delicious and a warm Carrot Cake that was to die for especially the foresting. All and all, we will definitely come back here for dinner.

Gavin greeted/seated our party of 3. He was personable and just an overall happy guy. While he was not our assigned server, he offered to take our drink order. I highly suggested the Pear Martini…oh my!

The food; outstanding. Between the 3 of us we had the filet medallions, vegetable burger and the Hyde Park (chicken sandwich). All dishes were delicious, cooked perfectly and accompanied by the perfect sides.
We also ordered all 3 the desserts; key lime pie, carrot cake and chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Life’s short. One must always have dessert! All 3 were so mouthwatering and incredibly scrumptious.
We were a little disappointed that the Chef’s special; Bread Pudding was already gone when ordered dessert around 6:15pm. Next time we’ll get there a little earlier.
We all took home our meals and desserts.
I must also mention that Giovanni thanked my brother for his service (his USAF hat was a subtle hint). She mentioned to us that her grandfather received the Purple Heart. I mentioned that my husband also served in the USMC and she again lit up and thanked him for his service as well.
If you want to feel like family and eat delicious food go to J Alexander’s in Fort Lauderdale. Thank you all. Y’all ROCK!!

Solid work horse, kitchen is dialed in and food is served hot and delicious. Be forewarned, not recommended for locals looking for a seat at the bar, this is a tourist attraction. That said if you have the time, make a reservation! On a a Friday or Saturday night you’ll still be about 30 minutes off of desired time. Take time to review the menu for drinks, appetizers and entree options. Once you sit down it goes fast.
