When we left, the restaurant was packed. The prices seemed reasonable for the portion sizes. You can self pay with the hand handheld at each table. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
I haven’t been to Texas Roadhouse in a while, and this was my first time at this location. Unfortunately, it was a very bad experience.
I ordered a premium steak, and it was brought to the table in less than a minute — clearly already cooked beforehand. The steak had burnt edges that were hard, inedible, and got stuck in my teeth. On top of that, it was full of fat instead of quality meat. Worst of all, I ordered medium well, but it was served rare.
Since I was with my child and short on time, I couldn’t send it back and had to leave most of the food untouched. It felt like a complete waste of money.
Definitely not recommended if you want to enjoy a proper steak.
Random Tuesday night dinner to use a gift card. Hadn’t been for years, and never to this location. Did the call ahead seating which worked perfect. Our table was ready within 1 minute of our arrival. The place was packed.
Rolls- divine. Nephew inhaled the first basket and licked out the butter container.
Blooming onion super good. Huge. Dipping sauce has horseradish in it which was a bonus for my bf.
Our server checked on us often. She was soooo good. Pleasant and attentive and helpful and professional without going over the top. A hard balance and she did it perfectly.
Nephew got cheeseburgers. Didn’t try them but they looked good and he snarfed them down. I had the 12oz Ribeye. Holy Moly. Perfect. Half of it filled me up. Loaded baked potato and green beans for sides. Another basket of rolls for the table.
Here’s the miracle…..my bf loved his steak medallions and he is the biggest food critic/snob/picky eater on the planet. He RAVED about them. After every bite. He had a Ceasars salad and sweet potato as sides. Both of us had half our meals to take home. Plus half the blooming onion.
The other wonder…..the whole thing was $77 before tip. WTH?!?! For that level of service and food, we were incredibly happy to pay that price. Especially with a gift card taking a big chunk of it off!
I had a pop, Nephew had a lemonade, bf had a beer so there were drinks on there, too. Wow.
Will be putting Texas Roadhouse in the eating out rotation!
Throughout the meal, we had to ask for drink refills and bread ourselves instead of the waitress checking in on her own. While we were eating, a previous diner came to our table asking if we had seen any headphones and requested that we get up so she could look under the table. We had our three little ones slide out of the booth to allow her to check, though I mentioned she should speak with the manager or busboy since the table had already been cleaned. To my surprise, she said she had asked, and the manager instructed her to come over to our table.
As a manager, they should have taken the lead and not allowed a previous customer to disturb current diners, especially after we had already waited so long for a table and were simply trying to enjoy our meal. After the woman left, no one came to apologize for the disruption.
