There’s nothing like the start of a vacation than trying McDonald’s brand new “product” in St. Augustine, FL, one of America’s oldest cities. This store visit was clean, looked recently renovated, and the moment I walked inside, I was immediately greeted by my McDonald’s mobile order, the Big Arch Meal.

In 2026, finding the words “fast food” and “cheap” in the same sentence are hard to come by. For a Large Big Arch meal, $13.49 is the damage this burger will do to your purses. The taste was great. I would say on par with a classic American sit down diner. The bun was fluffy, the sauce and lettuce were good and added an extra acidity and the cheese and beef were great and filling. The Diet Coke was classically good. The fries were salted and fried well. This is fast food… presentation isn’t supposed to be an art piece but I’d say this was better than most.

All in all, I need to try Big Arch before it leaves the menu again.

Very clean McDonald’s with excellent service. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was well-maintained. The food was served quickly and everything was fresh. A great place to stop in San Augustine!

McDonald’s. Not much to review. If you’ve been to one you have been to most. This version is updated to the current designs and decor. Service is based on who is working and the manger. Good some days, not so much others. Menu is as expected.

At the drive-thru it took Exactly 20 minutes of my time 3 attempts to make 1 fish sandwich correctly. The sandwich was sloppy and they use 1/2 slice of cheese. No apologize. Nothing extra was offered for the inconvenience. I gladly tipped the lady who had to keep bringing my food to the car. Training is an issue at this store. Mild incompetence at the mangers level. My order was placed at 1200 noon. And the final correct order was received at 12:20pm.

I placed a dine in order. I had a table marker and everything! After sitting at the table for 10-15 minutes I went to the counter and told them I had been waiting a while for my dine in order, and the cashier proceeded to tell me that they stopped doing dine in orders because they were busy. She left my food sitting on the counter, without telling me. She acted astonished when I told her if the dine in is closed they shouldn’t do dine in orders and that she should have said something. She got irritated and walked away. Terrible customer service. My food was good, but it would’ve been better if it hadn’t sat out for 15 minutes. It’s worth the few minute drive to get better customer service and quality food. I do not recommend stopping here.

24 Hour location (drive up 24 hours). Hospital clean on my visit, 2 employees cleaning. Drink bar in dining area with brewed Ice Tea. Employee was present at the counter for orders. Breakfast was hot and fast! Thank you!

Been going to this McDonald’s for 10 years now. Love it! Best McDonald’s anywhere food everything but tonight I went through there and some girl working out the window. I don’t know her name but she had star tattoos on the back of her neck. Literally I almost jumped through the window at her. I had to really watch myself because my son is diabetic. They put two sprites on the screen and so he made sure that when he got to the window he asked her to make sure that the one was a diet Coke because he is diabetic. She literally said to my son and a nasty attitude. Yes did. And I already tell you that I am so appalled and upset that somebody thinks they can treat somebody that way while they’re working at their job. I am so mad and when I told her that she had a nasty attitude she slammed the window in my face and said oh I’m busy. No excuse for yelling at my young son because he was trying to check and make sure that his diet Coke was okay. I will never ever go back to that McDonald’s again because of her. Not cool. Not okay. I hope she’s not the manager and they lost a loyal customer because of her. Like I said we’ve been going there for over 10 years. Never had any problems until tonight and she ruined it!!!!!!! These employees think they can treat and talk to people any kind of way that they want to because their managers aren’t there at night. Not me not happening and especially not speaking to my children that way.

We went to the drive through. We ordered 2 chocolate shakes, a kid meal, and a large fry. They asked us to pull over to wait. 5 or more cars came through and left while we were waiting. I finally walked inside to get the food. They had not even started it. It took 20 minutes from the time we ordered until the time we got our food. Not acceptable for a fast food place. I will add the staff was friendly, not overly apologetic but friendly.

Myself and 2 other delivery drivers attempted to pick up orders. We were told that they only had two employees working. They put cones out to block the drive through. When I asked for the employees name, she responded with “deez nuts”. Very professional .
She said they close daily at 4am. It was 3:18am. The employees were sitting and chilling in the dining area.

Nuggets were staled and old. Fries had no salt. Ordered at the kiosk and Asked for dine in. Was given a bag. When asked for my drinks employee gave a rude face expression. This location needs to tighten up. Especially with all the joking around. It’s cool to have fun at work but paying attention to detail is a must.
