Penny wise but pound foolish.

If I wanted to spend 60 bucks on Subs, I would go somewhere that serves an actual quality product.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service at the Lynden Subway. My grandmother recently went there with my children and tried to use a coupon I had given her. When she presented it, the cashier was incredibly rude, loudly stating that they don’t accept coupons. Both my 14- and 8-year-old told me how uncomfortable they felt witnessing the cashier’s disrespectful attitude toward their elderly great-grandmother. My grandmother was left embarrassed, especially with others waiting in line.

Not everyone is tech-savvy—she doesn’t download apps because she doesn’t know how to use them. The cashier could have simply explained the policy politely instead of being dismissive. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. We will not be returning to the Lynden Subway. Customer service goes a long way, and they clearly need to do better.

Its Tuesday evening today and i visited with my daughter…girl who is working here is extremely rude…this location is close to my house and my kids and me kove subway…i think we need to go somewhere else…….no napkins…no customer service…i wanted to try new footlong nachos,i asked for grilled chicken instead of Roti chicken…she refused to give me that chicken and wasted owner’s pack of chips that she already opened in hurry….she was so mean when i visited last time also….i was looking at menu to order something for me but she said”how many sandwiches?” I said just one then i saw nachos and i said i will take nachos she said so rudely”so u have 2”….i mean its so rude…there was not any line up if she was in hurry…i suggest owner to give her some etiquettes to deal with customers…thank you!

One of the worst subways I have been to, the staff is rude, unhygienic, impolite. First they are so stingy with everything, if you ask them to something a little extra they will give you looks and even argue saying we can’t do that, didn’t see them wearing gloves while making the Sub, and just overall poor customer service. Avoid getting your subs from here, go to any other outlet where the staff is good.

Ok, to be clear, I’ve been going to this shop on the guide for a couple years and haven’t had any issues until recently. The ease of ordering on the app and then just picking up the sandwich inside is awesome. Food has always been good, but the issue im having is that it seems the new hires arent reading the orders correctly. Don’t know if its the training or just the new hires that dont care, but when i order double meat, and pay for double meat, all the newbies don’t know what that option is. No issues with all the regular staff that have been there a while.

This is the second time the sandwich is pretty light. I went in today and the sandwich wasn’t done and when i asked her if there was double meat, she was clueless and read the ticket, and then asked me if i just wanted the #8 garlic with double bacon or double chicken or both. I wanted to say well what I ordered and paid for, but kindly replied both, as i wondered if the ticket wasn’t clear.

Guess it’s hard to find good help these days?

Update: Third time this place is not putting double meat in the order…I’m paying $4 extra for! Not only that but this time, its missing oil & vinegar, salt & pepper and oregano. These kids nowadays cant get a simple sandwich right. Probably on tik tok and too bothered to read the order from the app. ‍

Amazing restaurant with great efficiency, a clean environment, and friendly employees. The employees there, with their very receptive attitudes, make you feel extremely welcomed.

One experience really touched me: a random act of kindness from an employee. That time, I went with my father. We finished ordering, and the sum came out to be around $15. My father tried to pay with a credit card, but the card reader couldn’t take it. We looked for cash, and eventually only found $10. After a brief awkward moment, the cashier/employee, without hesitating, said something along the lines of “don’t worry about it” and indicated that we could have what we ordered even if we only paid two-thirds of it. I was very touched by the action of this employee.

Now, I don’t know if this was a part of Subway’s company policy or the personal decision of the employee. If it’s the first, then great job to Subway for this considerate policy and good job to the employee who followed it. If it’s the second (which I think is more likely), then wow, hats off to the employee for showing this random act of kindness and being a such a great person. Even though the sum was not that significant, I still feel very grateful and indebted to the employee. So, all in all, thank you.

Family run business and very professional. The smiles make you feel appreciated as a customer. Oldest son comped my lunch due to me being temporarily homeless due to the flooding. Helping thy neighbor is what they do. Thank you! Also if the blond daughters single I’d love to take her out? 🙂

Had the worst customer service experience there last night. I came into minutes before close which I didn’t know it closed at 6. I was behind 2 gentleman. The last was so nice to the 2 men before me but the minute I was served she scowled at me and was told several times that she was closing and was just enraged the whole time. She even hit the buttons on her til in pure anger. If that’s how you treat your customers im never coming back there again.

Never really had an issue getting a sandwich here. I would just recommend that if you see a line inside chances are there is only one person who is making the food and it might take a little bit of time to order.
