We decided to stop and try it. We arrived within six minutes and were promptly seated. Our server, Peyton, was attentive when we explained our food allergies. She checked with the kitchen about specific menu items and helped my wife find a suitable gluten-free meal, including chips and salsa. For me, she ensured there were no limes that had been cut with lemons, as I am highly allergic. Peyton took the time to make sure our meals were safe.
While we were eating, I realized we were nearing my appointment time on the north side. Peyton brought our to-go items and the receipt promptly, ensuring we would not be delayed. I was very impressed with her service and gave her a well-deserved tip. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, just as I remembered. We will return, as Peyton truly made our visit enjoyable with her outstanding service and pleasant personality.
Lunch Specials end at 3pm or you have to be over 60.
Got a Steak Quesadilla. Never seen it done like this before – Tortilla on bottom, steak in in middle, cheese on top. Definitely not a quesadilla, but it was still tasty.
Chips and Salsa included when you sit down. The salsas were good, but there were no tiny plates included with the chips. Salsa drips all over the table because of this. Salsas were delicious!
We also ordered the guacamole that was $5.00 for happy hour. The guacamole was great.
Flan for desert was a 7/10. My date did mention that there were a few curdles.
Service was great. Our waiter was super friendly and prompt.
Atmosphere… the most obnoxious music plays… It’s like 00’s Pop Rock EN ESPAÑOL. And it’s too loud.
There was no authenticity! It was all bland! Not even salt at the table could help bring the flavor to my palette.
They built the place “very fancy” so you could feel better about eating there.
But once you try the food, your tongue will immediately tell you.
It was my wife, 2 of my boys (twins), and my parents. Apparently everyone at the table was craving enchiladas
As you’ll see from the pictures below, there’s almost every type of enchilada they serve, so I won’t go too much into describing each dish.
I ordered the pork tenderloin abrigada, which came with 2 enchiladas ♂️. The pork itself was wrapped in bacon and very juicy. One of my twins ordered the fajita chimichanga and he said it was amazing. Everyone else ordered enchiladas. We all enjoyed our food and had nothing but great things to say. The 3 different types of salsa were all really good.
In case anyone wanted to know the different types of enchiladas we ordered, here you go. Beef, chicken, spinach, and jack cheese. Each had a different sauce on top (chili con carne, sour cream, green chile)
The service itself was great. We have a really kind and attentive waitress by the name of blankie (possibly spelled wrong). She kept out drinks full and regularly checked in on us.
I recommended trying this place out, although I’m sure everyone already has and I’m just late to the party.
