What a fantastic place to eat. The moment we walked in, the welcoming staff and the charming setting won us over. Real greenery around the dining area gives the place a calm, refreshing feel. We ordered the Seafood Plater along with the Gyro meal, and every item tasted incredibly fresh and well prepared. The flavors were rich, the portions were generous, and the service could not have been better. Truly a spot worth visiting again and again. Highly recommended!

Rare experience where everything tastes as amazing as you imagine your perfect meal in your head. Eat a lot of brunch, haven’t been knocked out of the park like this in a long time. Incredible flavor. Service was fast and attentive, atmosphere cozy, warm and clean.

Walked over from my hotel for a late breakfast. Wasn’t too busy when I arrived and I was seated immediately. Took a little while for a server to come over and offer water or coffee.
The omelette and potatoes were excellent, and the portion was huge. The toast, unfortunately, was cold and the wrong type was delivered. The coffee was pretty good, but nobody came by to offer a refill until I was ready to leave.
Be prepared for slower service and double check your order when it arrives.

Fantastic breakfast spot with homemade food, cozy atmosphere with great staff like Nick, dating back 50 years. It’s an unpretentious restaurant sticking to core breakfast items, sandwiches and some items like VA ham unique to the Commonwealth.
I’ve been coming here for 20 years, and there are many regulars. I love the pancakes, bacon, coffee, and home fries! Also, great chicken wings, biscuits and gravy, and my family loves their omelettes or poached egg Benedict’s. Don’t expect anything too fancy here, but expect a great breakfast

I had a wonderful breakfast at Table Talk with two work colleagues while we were in Alexandria. It’s a lovely little restaurant with a great, welcoming atmosphere.
I ordered the classic American breakfast of eggs, hash and bacon with a coffee, and it was absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic from start to finish – the staff were friendly and incredibly attentive.
I would definitely go back if I’m ever in the area again. A great spot for a bite to eat.

I had the most amazing breakfast experience here! The chicken and waffles were absolutely perfect—crispy, juicy, and paired with the fluffiest waffles ever. Every bite was heavenly! The service was just as impressive—warm, friendly, and quick. I felt so welcomed and cared for throughout my visit. This place is officially my new favorite breakfast spot! Highly recommend if you’re craving something delicious and comforting.

Definitely a place we would go back to. Food was good as well as service. We went for breakfast only. Prices were reasonable and portions satisfactory. Ended up going there for breakfast everday on our visit vs eating the hotal breakfast. Highly recommend.

I’ve heard good things about this restaurant and was able to eat here one morning during the week. It wasn’t busy. Parking is available in their parking lot. It’s a decent amount of parking if the restaurant isn’t busy. We were seated quickly and our food came out in a timely manner. The restaurant has a homey diner vibe. The garbage omelette comes with all the add ins available. It was delicious. Cooked just right. The home fries were tender and seasoned well. The French toast were simple but good. The Reuben was good. I’m not a huge fan of chips with a hot sandwich because the chips absorb the moisture and then get soggy. I felt like I had to eat my chips to fast to preserve them. First world issue.
