We visited Mona after a morning at the beach for a relaxed brunch, and it turned out to be such a delightful surprise. Conveniently located right next to where we were staying, the place immediately stands out with its colorful and vibrant decor. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home.
We started with freshly made juices of melon and lemon, both incredibly refreshing and full of natural flavor. Then came a comforting cinnamon oatmeal, perfectly balanced and just sweet enough to start the meal on a cozy note.
For our mains, we ordered the Combi Completa, the Avo Bacon Croissant, and an Omelette Looking Good without turkey, with a side of sautéed potatoes. Everything was delicious with fresh ingredients, great presentation, and generous portions.
The service was excellent, attentive, fast, and genuinely friendly. It’s clear that everyone there enjoys what they do, and that energy makes all the difference.
Mona is a must visit if you’re looking for a cheerful, laid back spot with outstanding food and great vibes. The kind of place that instantly lifts your mood. Can’t wait to come back soon!

I loved this place for brunch! Super cute inside and the staff is dressed to match. Service was great and food was delicious. You have a parking attendant outside helping you with parking as it is a busy street. Cant wait to go back when we visit Aguadilla again.

EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS. Seriously though, everything is just damn delicious, made with care, and Portions are fairly generous.
This is the place you take your “Instagram postable only” friend AND your “I’m only getting good food” friend.
Saturday was noticeably less busy and quieter than Friday, staff was accommodating and spoke both English and Spanish if needed. They serve a fun twist on local and American dishes so you’ll always get something you’ve never thought of and it’ll be great.
The coffee is excellent, highly recommend the American cappuccino. It’s different from a regular cappuccino, the American cappuccino has whipped cream and cinnamon.
All meat was perfectly cooked, never had anything under or over cooked, they answer the phones, bathrooms are CLEAN and stocked, AND they WILL let you sit down and order a FRESH made meal 15 minutes before closing.
The winners for me:
Churrasco mofongo – menu says it’s Yuca but I’m 99% sure it’s breadfruit. It’s unbelievably delicious, best eaten fresh
Any of the “Benedicts” – the hollaindaise sauce is extra vinegary and ties in the flavor of whatever protein is in the dish, great work
The arroz salteado criollo – literally imagine Puerto Rican fried rice. It’s perfect
Ask for the potatoes to have extra seasoning, you won’t regret.
BUT TRY EVERYTHING! If it interests you, you’ll like it.

My family & I are Benedicts lovers and these Mofongo Benedicts were amazing!!! The steak was tender and juicy and the flavors of the mofongo and hollandaise sauce were perfect!! The coffees were delicious too. Highly recommend ❤️

One of the best breakfast locations we have found thus far, Lizmarie , our server was pleasant from the minute we walked in. The ambiance was very nice ,loved the decore and the light music was a great touch. We truly recommend this location for breakfast lunch and dinner. This will be our breakfast spot while here on vacation. We will give El Meson a break…lol

We stopped by Mona after hearing multiple recommendations, and it was great! The service was fast and friendly, the lattes were perfectly made, and the food was fresh and generous portions. While the atmosphere was lively rather than quiet so it may not be ideal if you’re looking for a peaceful spot…the overall experience was great. One downside is that parking can be a bit of a challenge, so plan accordingly. Still, it’s a solid spot that’s worth the visit if you’re in the area.

Hands down Mona is the best brunch spot I’ve been to in PR. Aguadilla is one of the chillest vibes on island, but between the delicious food, great customer service, cleanliness and relaxing atmosphere….this place is the best. We got the restaurant around 9, which was good because it gets crowded during the later morning hours…and this was on a Tuesday. I highly recommend Mona’s if you are a foodie. Definitely well worth the experience.

Everything about Mona was excellent! My husband ordered the brownie coffee, it was so delicious he ended up ordering another one. We loved our avocado-bacon sandwiches. The service was great and the atmosphere was very inviting. We are planning on visiting again before our trip ends.
