Steak ’n Shake is such a great spot! Their fries and milkshakes are absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a clean, spacious vibe, and I especially love their comfortable sofa seats. Ordering through the touch panel screen was super easy, and my food came out quickly and fresh. The servers were also very nice and friendly. Highly recommend!

After the soda tip fell into my dads drink and got all over my dad after asking for another drink and bringing this to their attention Luis one the cooks threatened to beat my dad up which is a 65 year old man, lake of maintenance and very unprofessional. Food is fresh, hot, and they made the cheese sauce cup even bigger. My fries are happy dippers now. Service was very helpful and kind. Mrs. Chantel is a happy smiling face got me napkins cause she saw i didnt grab any. The place is clean and smells fresh. One of my favorite places to sit and eat. And the kids love it.

2 senior sisters looking for a good lunch. Stopped here after a couple years and what a difference!! No surprise we are not good with all this new fangled technology for ordering. So we tend to shy away from restaurants that exclusively use those. We were at kiosks for a few seconds pondering ,when I believe the manager, came to help us without making us feel embarrassed. Very nice and courteous!! Steak and Shake in New Tampa, back in our rotation for good food and wonderful service!!

For a relatively cheap meal, I don’t expect much but it is usually better than this time. My double was barely a single. Usually it’s not that bad at this location but this time it was. I didn’t receive the cheese sauce that was ordered so I went in to get it. There was a hand written sign that said no cheese sauce or milkshakes… then why ring me up for it? Then they gave me a cheese sauce but from a can sitting on the counter that was cold. $2.00 for 2oz of cheese is actually crazy. It was not the normal portion. Just seemed like no one cared or wanted to put any effort into working. Managers, step it up… this isn’t for the employees who don’t know better, it starts with you. They also, must have been out of fry baskets as my fries were in a brown paper bag.

I was having a really rough day to no fault of the staff here, and not only was my meal made to perfection but everyone on shift was so incredibly kind and thoughtful. People working food service truly go under appreciated, but they were not unnoticed. Thank you to the team for being so wonderful.

I’m not sure what the deal is with the manager here and why she’s so rude. Ordered a garlic steak burger, single and beef tallow Fries online waited twenty minutes in the store to pick it up. They had it sitting in the bag, but didn’t let me know. Nor asked and when she asked about the other delivery people, she yelled “name” in a very ugly tone. And when she asked, what are you waiting on for me?I told her my order, and she just slams it on the table. No, apology for taking a long time and just a nasty attitude all around. I get your miserable because you work in fast food But that doesn’t mean you have to be rude to your customers. The fatigue is real.

I have nothing bad to say about the staff, they were fine. The restaurant itself however is absolutely disgusting. The floor is sticky and wet from the ac vents dripping. The table tops get wiped down, but it doesnt look like anything else does. The metal chairs and tables are all rusty. The ceiling is the worst of all and have mold over many of the tiles. The place is absolutely disgusting.
