We visited Burger Burger at the Mall of America on Friday evening, January 30th, to celebrate our son’s birthday. When we approached the counter to order, we asked a simple and reasonable question: “What makes you different from other burger restaurants?” The blond-haired, bearded cashier/server responded dismissively with, “Don’t ask me to respond to that.” The tone was rude and unwelcoming, and it was immediately clear he did not want to be there.
There were two cashiers taking orders at the time. The second cashier was polite and professional; however, the initial interaction set an uncomfortable tone. The ordering process felt rushed and awkward, as though we were an inconvenience. Under normal circumstances, we would have left, but because this was our son’s birthday and his choice of restaurant, we did not want to create a scene in front of him.
Throughout our visit, we observed the same cashier interacting with other customers, and the lack of engagement continued. He appeared disengaged with guests while being animated and joking with coworkers. This behavior reflected poorly on the restaurant and negatively impacted the overall experience.
The food itself was good—the burgers and fries were tasty, reasonably priced, and prepared in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, the quality of the food did not offset the poor customer service.
This restaurant has the potential to be a great dining option, but front-of-house professionalism and customer engagement need significant improvement, especially in a high-traffic location like the Mall of America. We will not return due to this experience. There are other burger restaurants in the mall.

After placing our order, we had our food in about ten minutes.
We ordered burgers and fries.
The were very good!
The seating was fine, the MOA is a busy place.
The burgers are fine, the impossible pattie is more thin than other restaurants. I was told the bison burger was very good.
They have jalapeños or habaneros to put on if you want, that is nice.
The flies were soft, warm and seasoned very well, I Enjoyed them.

The burger was tasty, and the fries were crispy and cooked to perfection. The restaurant was clean and spacious. The price seemed fair for the burger and fries, although I probably wouldn’t pay $7 again for the quantity of cheese curds they provided. An excellent burger choice if you’re shopping at the MoA!

I would eat here often if I lived in the area. The prices for the vegan options are pretty reasonable. The young man taking orders was very friendly and personable. All other staff seemed very friendly, as well. Expand to Maryland/Delaware and I will be a regular patron, no doubt.

I ordered a BAE burger which comes with avocado, bacon, and a fried egg. The bacon was practically raw, so I asked the girl who delivered it to our table if they could cook it longer. She said she’d ask but never came back. In addition to the raw bacon, the fried egg was overcooked. If you’re at the MOA and looking for a place to get a burger, try Wallburgers or the Sugar Factory instead.

First time I walked in wanting a hamburger no one came to the counter so I left and went to other restaurants for lunch. But I did want to try one of the milkshakes so I came back to which I was promptly attended to and shake was made very quickly for me. Got the oreo shake that was super messy but super good.

There’s better places to get a burger inside MOA.
First of all, the place is filthy. There is grim everywhere.
The floors are sticky throughout the entire dining area.
Second, they claim to fresh ground burger every day but these look and taste an awful lot like premade frozen patties.
The food tasted okay, I got a John Wayne burger and an orange creamscicle shake as well.
The burger tasted fine. The fries were good and crispy. The shake was a bit runny, flavor was okay but not very “orange creamscicle”..
It’s pretty pricey for such a lack luster dining experience and generic burger.
At this time, I can’t recommend dining here.
Hopefully management sees mine and the other comments about the dining rooms cleanliness and clean both front and back of house up.

if you check my Google review history I’m not one of those freaks who goes around trashing everybody. it was 8:20 and they told us that they were only doing takeout so we had to eat out in the regular part of the mall. then they got both of our Burger orders incorrect. then when we went back to get the burgers fixed, they got another one wrong on the 2ND TRY. there weren’t even any special requests they were two of their regular burgers off their menu. then they did not even have the vegan bacon and did not even offer to give us a refund because they could not fulfill our order. plus had to wait 25 minutes for all this. damaged our evening. ate 30 only percent of our 30$ order.

Super yummy burgers! I got the classic burger with the green adult milkshake, delicious. My 6 year old son didn’t like the cheese on his. The place was well maintained, employees kept a coming out to clean tables and stock/clean the drink area. The order taker was very friendly and helpful too. The bartender even took an order to help the line.
I highly recommend this place! Unique and a fun experience. I was not expecting the alcohol either. Delicious!
