I stopped at the Marion Illinois store. I hate the Kiosk that you have to use to order. I couldn’t really find what I wanted.
There was a lady working, cleaning, but she didn’t ask if I needed help.
The food was terrible, nothing like Steak N Shake used to be. Maybe they are getting their meat from somewhere different than they used to.
The only good thing about my visit was that the restroom was very clean.
Because of having to use the Kiosk to order, I won’t go back to eat inside.

Ordered here a couple weeks ago and by the time I got home I realized one of my orders was not in the bag (the onion rings and burger was missing). I called the restaurant and they said they would write my name and number down. Today I came into the restaurant to inform them and the manager proceeded to pull out a stack of notecards with missing orders and told me because I never kept my receipt they can’t be sure that it was true. Which is kind of ridiculous because how many people would honestly lie about it being written on a note card (typically restaurants don’t mess up that bad that they need a stack of note cards for missing orders.)

11:30 am. I was the only customer in the restaurant the whole time there. Server yourself with a kiosk. Food was brought to the table, but I think normally they call out your name, and you pick up at the counter. Burger was good and also the chili. Price moderate.

Ate here today at around 3pm for dine-in and let me tell you, this location rocks!! My burger was phenomenal, the fries were crispy and fresh, and the shake was awesome too. Not to mention that the service was incredibly fast! Will definitely be coming back here again and again!! 2 burgers, 2 sets of fries, 2 huge shakes and a drink for less than $20 after tax and tip is AWESOME, especially for being such high quality too!

I stopped in for lunch today around 11 and wanted to say everything was awesome the food was good the service was amazing. Restrooms were good the restaurant was clean and staff was friendly the milk shakes were awesome. I called to let the manager know I hope they give a shout out to them. Service was terrible, bathrooms were absolutely disgusting.. I had even asked them to clean up the woman’s so I could personally use it. I waited until after I ate to go back to the restrooms and they were still the same way. Urine was all over the toilet seats and floor along with toilet paper.. food was cold, the entire place was a huge mess.. I never rate a place but this just took me by surprise.. very disappointed. My entire family was disgusted. We spend over 60.00 in food and it was a total waste. Never again.
