Amazing food and staff. 1/18/2026. 2nd stop in since the first was yummy. Freshly baked chocolate pastries and blue berries muffin 10/10. Coffee is the real deal. Our kids loved the lattes, cappuccino rocked. The star is the GOAT sandwich, get it as an everything bagel. The freshly smashed avocado on it is perfection. The staff are sweet and emitting kindness vibes that get the customers all in a good mood to start the day. Definitely will return if we are in the area. You have to be patient for perfection so don’t rush the staff. It is an art. Thank you- NY visitors.

One of the BEST coffees you can get in the DMV! Seriously, espresso was dialed in perfectly and milk was steamed exactly as it should be. I enjoyed the roast & flavor profile of the espresso beans. Service was quick. Inside was super super pretty with plants and abundant seating, but it may be too popular of a spot (I like quieter spots to relax lol.)
Second visit: tried something different (flavored latte) and it was equally great!

A cute coffee shop in College Park very near to UMD. Their coffee is tasty. We got iced latte and hot mocha. The prices are a bit high. The store is not really big. And if it is a busy coffee day you may not find a table. But then there is to go opportunity too. The staff is helpful. The pastries we didn’t try. They looked tasty but I have no idea. Maybe next time.

My go-to place for my after lunch caffeine. Barista are super nice. I wish they would not assume that everyone wants their drink to go. Drinking coffee from a single use cup is not nice. Generating unnecessary waste is not cool.

Good coffee but quite over priced. They have some pastries too that are again expensive.

I tried a cappuccino here, it was decent. Certainly better than Starbucks or Dunkin, but not especially flavorful or interesting. It was the correct size and temperature. Foam was somewhat wet, but not badly so. Their menu doesn’t include a lot of sugar and dairy filled crap so I’m optimistic for the other coffee drinks. That said, I haven’t fully made up my mind on this place. I will return for black drip and/or pour over and update this review with my results…

The coffee is good and the acai bowl is also delicious. It’s a great place to have coffee, grab a bite to eat, and get some work done.

Seating for ~20 people, two mini bar tables and 5 regular alongside the side wall. Bar tables do not have access to outlets so keep in mind!
bagels were out to just cinnamon raisin bagels at 12:30pm on Saturday (they’re open till 6 though, so I would expect a replenishment cycle?), got The Goat (listing ingredients on a paper menu someplace so we don’t have to bother asking the server to list three different specials would be helpful), bagel itself was good even though was not my first choice, didn’t seem that toasted but also seemed fine to me. I felt it lacked salt and asked for some but they said they weren’t able to/didn’t have any… which I find a bit odd and frustrating.
Maple latte was nice as I’m from NH and as a former barista, used to have those all the time — steaming could be a little better but was not burnt or over aerated like a Cappuccino so I’m content.
Overall, $22 for a slightly embellished bagel and a latte is a bit much… especially without the option of adding basic salt/pepper.
Staff were friendly and nice which I always appreciate!
Compostable lids and cups, lovvvve!!
crowd seems like it may be on the younger side (early 20s) but did see a few folks over late 20s if that matters to you.
They have WiFi.
There is parking for ~4 cars and 2 temporary 10 minute spots. Space is small but can work with a small/medium van. Additional garage parking alongside the street (just would not fit my van height)

Vigilante Coffee is very popular and for good reason. The modern and natural atmosphere and high quality coffee call for the building to be full every day it’s open. I am a black coffee drinker, and the price is a little high, especially for a large ($4.50), but the coffee is very good. The service is nice although can take awhile sometimes. There’s also always people getting towed in their parking lot, so that’s fun. Overall, I give Vigilante Coffee 4 stars!

Cool, if somewhat standard, coffee shop. The cold brew was fine, the bathrooms are clean and the WiFi is sufficient. My only gripe is there’s no (obvious) outlets for plugging your laptop in for those who want to work for a bit.
