We came over here to try the food. Had fish n shrimp.combl and a half chicken with fries. The service is great and atmosphere ok nothing too special. When they busy hard-to-find get seating. However for the food everything tasted the same, as though same bbq sauce going on everything. The king fish was very fishy; like bo seasoning effort was put into the fish. With so many bbq places around> I don’t see myself coming here again out of the way. I mean a lot of people seem to like it but unless im in area not coming out of the way. BONUS..place is very clean and servi e awesome

Great all-round BBQ experience. Plenty of parking, friendly and welcoming staff, and a comfortable seating area. The place was clean throughout…..including the washrooms…. and even the condiment and sink areas were well maintained. Overall, a very pleasant and well-run spot.

Delicious food, clean atmosphere and lots of parking. There was a stray cat that was rubbing up on people and begging for food but that’s the cat owner’s fault and not Originals.

Some people 1st stop when they reach T&T is doubles, roti or a coconut….mine will always be this BBQ spot. The food is absolutely delicious and their sauces are equally amazing.

I grew up in the south and I now live in the North of Trinidad and I will always stand by that south has the better tasting bbq. I frequented this BBQ place mainly but then their consistency and taste dropped drastically so much so I started buying from the other BBQ place in Duncan village. For almost 15 year I switched and because the same reasons the other place has consistency and quality issues. I recently patronised the Original BBQ hut and I am totally impressed again and reminded back to the good old days. Highly recommended

I didn’t purchase from them for years and decided to try it with my friends. The fries were awesome, the chicken needed a lot more seasoning an it was a small amount was given for $50.00 they packed all the fries at the top of the box covering the meat and the freash saksd at the bottom. I had to pay EXTRA for the garlic bread which consist of a cold bun with paste on top. We all rated it poor. I would not be visiting a anytime soon.
