So many diners in NJ have closed so it was nice see one that I had not been to and try it out. Service was fast, I ordered a breakfat from the menu and everything was cooked how I instructed. I decided to get a dessert they had many deliciousclous looking cakes,and pies but one stood out with it’s two layers of carrot cake sitting on he bottom.abd the top of this. amazingly creamy cheesecake. It was the perfect amount of carrot cake. The flavors and textures went perfect together. It was a unique fusion of two common albeit sometimes boring desserts but together even thinking about it is making my mouth water. Stop by and grab a slice or get one to go,

Today had three eggs, home fries with onions and hot Italian sausage, grits. My friend says the food came out very fast. Home fries and sausage was luke warm at best. Eggs were ok and the grits were a little loose but hot. If the cold stuff was hot, the other rest would have been ignored. Normally better, not a good visit today.

Visited during brunch hours on 7/11/25. A short stack of dense, thick, heavy, doughy, chewy blueberry hot cakes comes with “breakfast syrup,” first ingredient corn syrup. Maple unavailable. Came out piping hot after enough time for me to catch up with the news on my phone. The place was busy. I couldn’t finish the second pancake and left it on the plate. At the register, I discovered a $3 blueberry upcharge. Total bill was $13.69 for two pancakes and a cup of coffee, plus tip.

This place is amazing! Went once before and had a great time so I took my family. I got the Seafood Omelette and Carmel Banana pancakes, my wife got the turkey dinner, my mom got the Seafood Skillet (which I’m going back for) and my Pops got the Burger with fries. The food was great, the staff was super friendly and helpful AND we brought a bottle of wine in to enjoy our meal! All around I recommend this great establishment to anyone who want that warm, at home feel with great food to match!!!

Surprisingly the food is very strong here. The French Onion soup broth was flavored greatly and is uniquely garnished with croutons. Their chicken skillet dish is phenomenal! It is a great deal; $21 for a soup/salad, entrée, two sides and a desert if I recall correctly. Service wasn’t anything exceptional, though, it was otherwise a pleasant experience. This is a great South New Jersey diner.

The food is always Good, I test a place by their salads. If you go anytime of the week and the salads are not fresh, then to me nothing else is to fresh. Golden Places Salads Are Always Fresh & Sooooo Delicious. You also get plenty of food for a Great price.

It is a very nice diner. The service is exceptional. The first time we went, ordered breakfast, omelet & poached eggs with cubed potatoes instead of home fries. The potatoes were really perfectly cooked & the omelet & poached eggs were good. The second visit, ham & cabbage soup was good, my shrimp spinach tomato bacon wrap not so good, not much shrimp the bacon was not freshly made and the tomatoes tasted like canned tomatoes, mentioned it to the waitress & she removed it from the bill. My husband ordered the omelet with cubed potatoes again, and they did not disappoint. I gave it 4 stars because of the service, very good breakfast and the menu has alot to offer any pallet.

I ordered a chicken salad sandwich through door dash. Paid 32.00 for my order only for it to be wrong.
I received a chicken salad CLUB on white bread.
I don’t eat white bread ie; why I ordered it on wheat. I DON’T EAT PORK yet there was bacon on there. Soni had to go and pick up my new sandwich only to find a pickle in the container and I’m highly allergic to pickles. Menu doesn’t state that sandwich comes with pickles on the side.
So I just wasted MONEY BECAUSE I’M NOT GOING BACK AGAIN OR EVER AGAIN!!!!
