I really have to give Shay the server at Dennys credit. Last night we decided to go to Denny’s for a late night treat and it was beyond busy. Seemed like the store got packed all at once. We watched Shay be the best server I’ve ever seen. She had a few tables being rude to her and still smiled through it and was so nice, polite and professional. I even had to ask her how is she still smiling after what we heard the rude guest say to her and she told us, because one rude customer shouldnt ruin the experience of her other customers. And that spoke mountains. She never got overwhelmed. She joked with everyone she could and in my opinion for it to be as busy as it was she did a dang good job getting our food out to us in a timely manner, keeping up with our refills without us asking, checking in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything, and cleaning. Dennys needs more servers like her. All restaurants need servers like her. I hope she gets the recognition and appreciation she deserves from the company. GOOD JOB SHAY!! Thanks to you I will be returning and i hope you are there.

Took my granddaughter here for pancakes and she loved them! I had crepes with eggs and hash browns. Everything tasted great. The restaurant was clean and not very busy when we went. The waitress was nice but committed a boo boo. She cleared the plates from our table while we were in the bathroom to wash my granddaughters hands. But, she hadn’t finished her pancakes and wanted to take them home! ☹️

Meagan R was so great. We used to go 1-2 tume a week, but after moving we haven’t been to this dennys location in 2 years, and it did not disappoint. She was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back again! The food was also great.

Horrible service. Server couldn’t handle 3 tables. Couldn’t manage to explain that certain ingredients were gone, still got charged full price. Ordered a specialty coffee from the menu, was only given hot black coffee. Still charged for the specialty coffee. The manager/cook was no help, in fact she attempted to escalate violence after a guest left the lobby to avoid confrontation. This establishment is a joke, and corporate will be informed as well

I have had the pleasure of having Meagan as our waitress! Meagen is in the top 3 waitresses I have ever had at Denny’s. The food was fantastic, both for breakfast and dinner. The T-bone steaks were amazing, as were the pancakes, eggs, toast, garlic bread, salads, and potatoes. All the food we had was amazing.

I am not sure of the exact time I came. But I would like to report the general manager of that facility and the employees. I witnessed the manager and other employees going out to their cars to smoke marijuana on several occasions while I was there with my family. And they would come back in smelling strongly of drugs. I also witnessed how she spoke to her staff. You could hear her from the kitchen speaking so badly and yelling at her staff, we didn’t understand how she even has employees working there. That is the 3rd time we have gone to Dennys and staff will go out to one car together and smoke and come in smelling very strongly. It’s concerning. We will never come back to that restaurant and will advise our family and friends not to either. It’s clearly not family friendly. The staff is very slow, and acts like they don’t want to be there most of the time. Our food was ok but not great. It’s just sad that they have no guidance or organization at the Denny’s in Jackson. They will loudly ask each other do they want to go out to their car to smoke. How unprofessional
Is that. My children don’t need to hear such things. For a general manager to visibly go out to a red car to smoke marijuana while on the job is ridiculous and the owner should be ashamed for allowing such things.

Do NOT go there!! They take your order, bring it out and then disappear in the back!!!! Never checked on us one time!! Never offered refills or dessert!! They hung out in the back and I had to wait almost 10 mins to pay!! I should have walked out!! Food was not worth it!! Also, they didnt give me one free kid meal even though advertised as one free kid meal with one paid adult meal!! Awful service!! Girl that finally took my money was acting like she couldnt tell me my my total was soo high!! Finally she did!! Didnt leave a tip because they ignored us the whole time!! Never again!! Do NOT go there!!

What a mediocre Denny’s location.
Ordered a Sante Fe skillet and asked for the egg to be cooked medium, but it was over easy.
The tortillas that come with the dish didn’t come in the red steamer container that Dennys typically use…. so the tortillas were dry.
Had to ask for more coffee after only getting 1 cup. Had to ask for creamer, but I was never asked if I even wanted any creamer to begin with.
Line cook and waitress didn’t seem like they cared to be there at all. Waitress didn’t really seem friendly. Unfortunately, I had the shorter waitress with black hair.
She barely asked if I needed anything aside from trying to get me out the door or so it felt like. Barely said anything or acted friendly in anyway. I dont expect to be pampered, but I almost didnt feel like I was welcome. Still tipped 20%, but I kind of regret it in retrospect.
There was also a routy group of college kids loudly making disgusting inappropriate jokes that kind of ruined the vibe and appetite.
I went on a Monday night, probably around 9pm or 10pm, and the place was practically empty. This was probably the worst Dennys I’ve been to. Won’t be back to this one.
Also, judging by the replies the owner puts on here just to obviously show face, it’s obvious they don’t care about improving.
If you have any complaints, just call corporate. The franchise owner won’t do anything about fixing this place if you contact them directly. Just call corporate instead.

Ordered Denny’s delivery. 2 of our entrees were large pieces of chicken. Both were completely raw in the middle. They wouldn’t answer the phone when we called repeatedly to tell them about it. Eat at your own risk.
