Roscoe’s on Manchester did not disappoint! I had the fried chicken with greens, mac n cheese, and cornbread—everything was seasoned just right and full of flavor. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, and the sides tasted homemade, especially the greens. My friend had the chicken and waffles and loved the sweet and savory combo. The service was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Definitely a solid spot for comfort food when you’re in LA.

Absolutely loved the chicken and waffles! The chicken was fresh and moist. I also ordered the lemonade iced tea and that was so refreshing. Hot sauces were perfect too, they had flavor and enough heat. My favorite sauces from left to right as seen in picture.

Very clean restaurant. Customers’ service was great. Parking is difficult because of the other businesses using the same lot. At this location, they will not take phone in orders. I had the chicken and waffles . Next time I will eat at the restaurant so my food will stay warm. If you know anything about meat, then you should understand this. The chicken was clean. Well done

The food is good it’s just not as good as I remember growing up in LA. However, I got the Oscar with 3 wings. The sunset drink and it’s non alcoholic. The yams were amazing. The syrup was really hot which melted the butter onto the waffles. I could eat the waffles all day. The chicken was alright to me. It was my kids first time here and they enjoyed it as well. I didn’t eat any of the sauces but these are the options

I spent $70 on two entres and two drinks.
I was shook. My partner and I make above average salary and this was too much for us.
The chicken and waffles are good but not life changing. Mac and cheese very bad.
I’m glad I tried it but there’s no reason to go back for those prices.
I really wish the best for this family owned business.

It had been a while since I had been to this location. I used their online service to order, for a pick up order. From walking in the door, every one was so welcoming and helpful. I thought I was at the wrong location but luckily I wasn’t. My food was freshly cooked and it was so delicious. I will definitely be coming back soon.
