What an outstanding celebration dinner we had at Vivace. We had actually not been here in years, since they were at their old location. We were seated promptly and lucked out in getting the most engaging server I have had in a long time, Elise (sp?) Fancier restaurants tend to have servers that are all business (at times pretentious) with limited humor but Elise was able to balance a great sense of humor and engagement that was so enjoyable.

We had some delicious cocktails from the bar, I was a big fan of the Cosa Nostra cocktail – so much so that I had two. We were a table of three and ordered some Caesar salads to start (the dressing was on point). Recommend two can split the dinner version. I had the Chicken stuffed with seafood, my husband had the Seafood Soup and my brother had a short rib ragu/penne. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. After inhaling the salads and that delicious bread they put on the table that comes with fabulous pesto I could not fully finish my chicken.

It was a birthday, so our server brought over a Creme Brule that we split three ways and it was scrumptious. The entire meal, service and ambience/views were totally worth the drive from Vail.

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here and this was our first time visiting. I truly wish I could give this restaurant 10/5 because it was absolutely perfection! From the moment we were greeted at the door and wished a Happy Anniversary to the ending with a complimentary Creme Brule we felt so valued and appreciated for choosing to dine with them. Our server, Jameella, provided excellent suggestions for our meals, she was so attentive during our entire stay and her bubbly personality was so much fun. She was sweet and kind and truly made our night extra special. We are from Canada and stay in Tucson every winter. This is now our new favourite restaurant that we will return to every year to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you for making our special anniversary so memorable

My new favorite restaurant! I loved everything about this place. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the views/atmosphere was remarkable. I’ll definitely go back.
The King salmon topped with shrimp over sautéed spinach was perfect. Very flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The scallop alfredo was amazing as well. The scallops were cooked to perfection.

We found the food to be excellent! Ate there twice this week. Service was excellent as well! Had the breaded chicken, and the sea bass special. Cocktails also very good. We really enjoyed the server and got excellent service the day before Valentine’s Day so was super busy.

We went to this restaurant for late lunch-early dinner (2:30 pm) on Saturday for the 1st time. We were surprised that there were a lot of seating. We were seat by the window which we can see the view of the city and mountains. Our waitress was really friendly and very informed-I wish I remembered her name. She mentioned that she had just started 2 weeks ago. The food was really tasty and delicious-definitely go back again.

We have eaten local food throughout Italy and have enjoyed the authentic experience. This place is a real find. Staff 5 stars, atmosphere 5 stars, food 5 stars. Amazing mushroom soup so flaverful, delicious stuffed pork chop and the Pesto was the best we have ever tasted. Thank you for a 5 star dining treat. We look forward to returning when our travels bring us back to Tucson.

Having been to Vivace over a dozen times in the past four months, I haven’t had a single poor experience. Each dish I’ve had (nearly everything on the menu) has been perfectly curated and beautifully presented. Staff, from valet to hostess to servers, are friendly and professional. The bartenders have “top-shelf” personalities to match their skills. The owner, Dan, often personally thanks guests on their way out. Vivace offers an intimate setting with spectacular views, marvelous food, perfect cocktails, and unreal desserts.

Everything was super salty and oily… wanted to love this place but the food missed the mark, the service was insanely slow, and it felt overly old school. See photos: escargots drowning in oil, and stuffed pork chop oozing oil. The escargot combination with the artichoke hearts was strange, and the artichoke hearts were fibrous.

If you love Italian food, this is the restaurant to go to. The decor is Tuscan inspired. The service is phenomenal. Tracy was fantastic. He made the birthday celebration very special. The food was wow, fantastic. The breaded filet mignon over the mashed potatoes was excellent. The tiramusu one of the best I ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant as a must for any special occasion or any Italian food lover.

We went today with high hopes of a fine meal. Out of four different plates, three were mediocre, borderline not good. The angel hair pasta with chicken meatballs was just ok. Nothing wrong with it, but beyond $30 to $40 a plate, it should be really good, not something I could have prepared at home with a store bought marinara. My fettuccine with angus meatballs was quite tasty, and the best meal we ordered. The seafood lasagna was simply strange. Mouthfeel and texture were simply yucky. No defined strips of pasta, no identifiable pieces of seafood, but more like a slushy mass with some slightly off-flavors. The last pasta dish was overly salty, to the extent that my adult son only ate about half. The meat chunks were like salted birria from a Mexican restaurant. The salads were delicious. The hors d’oeuvre seafood cakes were delicious as well. The atmosphere was pleasant, with a nice view of the city. The waitress was simply excellent, and we tipped her accordingly. If I wasn’t given a generous coupon to use, I would have been really disappointed at dropping more than $200 for the meal. No doubt there are most probably some excellent plates served here, but we didn’t choose them.
