Great custard! You can tell that custard is gonna be bonkers when it sounds like a dryer in there. Super creamy but concrete, the best bit of eggy-ness and sweet vanilla. The pastrami burger wasn’t greasy at all. Really cute interior too reminds me of a little diner in jersey 🙂

the staff there are always super friendly and hardworking. I’ve never seen any of the staff be on their phones while I’ve been there, which is super impressive since most of them are teenagers. I love how many different ways you can order and that they have many different options for sitting. The bun on their burgers are really good and I enjoyed how all my food came out hot! Their fry sauce is absolutely heavenly. I would’ve enjoyed my burger having a little less mustard and pickle, so maybe I’ll ask them next time because I know they were just making it how they usually make them. I just love the vibes and it makes me feel like I’ve time travelled to the 50s or 60s. Their prices are the same price you’re gonna get anywhere else and they make everything fresh for you! I’m happy to wait for fresh food! I’ll definitely be back!

I was craving a sweet treat and stumbled on this place! You have the option to dine in, or order at the side window and sit outside. The menu was a bit overwhelming since there’s so many options, but the staff were very friendly and explained my options. I ended up going with chocolate almond, and it tasted heavenly. Super creamy and smooth with the perfect amount of chocolate almonds. I did find it to be quite expensive; I believe it came out to around $8-$9, so it’s definitely something I’d only buy once in a while. I loved that there was a lot of outside seating and a park right across! Will be coming back to try some other flavors!

Nielsen’s frozen custard is so yummy! Like better than DQ for sure! However… their diner food is disgusting. My family got hamburgers and corn dogs for lunch and I gave my burger to the dog. The fixings are barely there and meh and the burger itself was horrible and grey. McDonald’s or other fast food is better and cheaper! Also their fries are WAY too salty! The atmosphere is fun, if you get real food there’s a bit of a wait. Take my advice and just stick with the custard. Then you won’t be disappointed or out the extra cash!

Their custard was divine! It was so incredibly creamy and smooth. We absolutely loved our chocolate custard concrete with brownies and raspberries, and the vanilla custard with raspberry and brownies.
The chocolate, peanut butter, Oreo concrete was also good, but richer.
The burger we got was ok, and the grilled cheese was basic (though we did get it without onions which probably would have made it more interesting), but the fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. They were bigger than your average fry, and the inside was perfectly fluffy and the outside crispy! So delicious. I did add salt to mine because I liked them saltier.
I gave them 5 stars specifically because the shakes and fries were so good I can’t wait to go back.
They have walk up ordering with outside seating, a drive-thru, or dine-in options. And the overall esthetic was fun. This is clearly a local favorite.
The bathroom is through an outside white door on the south side of the building.

The food is good but almost always slow since they specialize in the custard. The biggest negative for me is not only do they not have gluten free options but they further punish people like me with celiac disease by withholding their pepper relish only for people who get buns on their grinders/burgers. Dumbest policy ever. Otherwise, it’s great custard. I recommend the strawberry and toasted almond concrete.

Stopped by the drive-through and tried four different frozen custards. All were delicious. One was not exactly what we expected. The brownie flavor came out vanilla rather than chocolate, but it was still good. Everything else was spot on, and the service was great. Definitely recommend for a quick, tasty treat.

We’ve experienced this location several times. It was great, that’s why we return but after yesterday, watching the staff be interested at entertaining the young girl while our food over cooked, makes me wonder, do I want to come back? Yes, the young man served us the over cooked frys and onion rings. Disappointed.

Concrete hits a perfect consistency. Great hot food as well. Prices are not bad at all considering the times and how much you get.

Great throwback ice creme shop and diner. Image a real 50s or 60s diner that was not trying to show you how great the 50s and 60s were. Just authentic without the nostalgia agenda. This is a busy place and sometimes you have to wait a bit for your food. But they play old music to entertain you while you get a lot of ice creme in a cup with many different flavors. They work hard here to make you feel what it was like food and sound wise and the booths and tables.
