Stopped by True Food Kitchen at The Domain and ordered a couple burgers — and wow, phenomenal experience from start to finish.

The burgers were cooked perfectly — juicy, flavorful, and balanced. Nothing felt greasy or overdone. The bun was fresh, the toppings were crisp, and every bite tasted intentional. You can genuinely tell they prioritize quality ingredients. It’s the kind of meal that satisfies you without making you feel weighed down afterward.

The atmosphere was just as impressive. Clean, modern, and bright with a relaxed but upscale feel. It’s the kind of place that works for a casual lunch, a business meeting, or a laid-back dinner. The patio area especially adds to the vibe at The Domain.

Service was friendly and efficient — attentive without hovering. Food came out hot and timely, and everything felt organized and polished.

If you’re in Austin and looking for a spot that delivers flavor, freshness, and a great overall experience, True Food Kitchen absolutely delivers. I’ll definitely be back.

We ordered the dinner for Duo which had Mediterranean Hummus platter, Gluten free wild mushroom & Spinach pizza, Teriyaki Quinoa Bowl and cake. The food was very delicious and Hatim, our host was very kind and helped us in ordering our food. Love the vibe of this place. Highly recommended.

The food is good, clean, and well sourced. That’s great for the health and ethics conscious eater, but you do trade on flavor. Air fried French fries don’t hit the same as those deep fried. Well cooked chicken doesn’t have the savory flavors as well cooked chicken with just a little bit of fat in it. Jambalaya needs to be a little bit dirty, and definitely not in pasta form. Prices are basically $20 or more for a plate. There is no soda here – spritzers replace the soda tap. It’s a good restaurant, just not an exciting one.

I had a great experience at True Food Kitchen. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. I especially appreciated the wide range of options on the menu, there were plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian choices, which made it easy to find something that fit my preferences without sacrificing taste. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were attentive without being overbearing. Overall, it’s a spot I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a healthy meal that doesn’t compromise on flavor.

I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Ordered a simple salad with grilled chicken. The salad came with a cold chicken and it was hard to say if it’s actually grilled. The manager explained that they cook this chicken in some kind of special way in the morning. And “for future reference….” I was supposed to notify them that I want a warm chicken. I don’t know..when I see “grilled chicken” on the menu I expect that it will be warm and fresh.

The toilet room is disgusting: trash is on the floor, the sink wasn’t cleaned for a long time. Makes me wonder if the kitchen is clean in the same way as toilets for the customers.

The tables were clean, but all other surfaces look pretty dusty.

Saw some misbehaving children running everywhere and screaming, but doesn’t seem like anybody cared.

So, I would say ..if you want to relax , have some good food and pleasant conversation where you can actually hear each other – this place is not the best choice.

Thanks Allen my server and Klara/ Cara/ the most down to earth gal there, so friendly and prompt. They have gluten free and Vegan/ Vegetarian options… and all the best quality. I normally say forget the wine but I’m glad I partook- promo $25 for this beautiful French wine that was like “summertime in your mouth”!!! Get the wine!!

True Food Kitchen absolutely delivered! Came for lunch with a friend and ordered the hummus with pita chips (a must-try starter) and the plant-based double cheeseburger with air-fried fries — both were delicious and surprisingly satisfying without feeling heavy.

Our server was generous and made the whole experience even better. Love that you can eat something truly tasty here and still feel good about it afterward. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The staff was rude and it was not even crowded but it took them 40 mins to get a pizza and a pasta.
I asked the server if I could get some Parmesan and oregano and she dismissed by saying Parmesan is already on the pizza and my request was not taken care of .

I will never return to this restaurant.

Meh. It’s not bad, but also nothing really notable or exciting either. My jambalaya pasta was waterlogged and the shrimp were overcooked. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back again.
