I had a great experience at GBK yesterday ! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavour — definitely one of the best burger places around. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and everything came out quickly.
A special mention goes to Michaela, who was absolutely amazing at her job. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her positive attitude and professionalism really stood out and made the visit even better.

Visited as going to a show at the New Theatre Oxford and fancied a light supper. Lovely welcome, seated quickly, friendly and efficient staff. Food was divine and reasonably priced for Oxford. Good menu choice and they didn’t mind that I ordered three starters as my main. Salad fresh and tasty, fries crispy and hot, truffle mac and cheese was delicious. Friend had a blue cheese smash burger and said is was very tasty. Will visit again.

I had lunch at GBK. The lunch was nice, the customer service was good and I like the space. They made me consent to giving a tip to the same person who had kindly served me. I felt like I was paying to be made uncomfortable. I am less likely to come back even though Michaela was really good at customer service. I would rather tip because I want to. Which I always do. But the system implemented made me feel like I was shamed into it, which made me not want to tip. I wish this restaurant had allowed me to feel welcomed and not ambushed for a couple of coins. Now I feel bad.

Amazing service! Our server was Ant. He was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Ant checked in at just the right times, had a great attitude, and made sure everything came out exactly how we wanted. You can tell Ant genuinely cares about their customers. On top of great burgers, the server alone is a reason to come back. Highly recommend!
