I went to Jakers for the first time and ordered the signature steak. Honestly, it was very disappointing. The steak lacked flavor, and the presentation was underwhelming. For the price point, I expect top-tier food and service — especially at a place with this kind of reputation.
I’ve eaten all over the world, and I genuinely don’t understand the hype. The overall experience felt mid-tier at best. When you’re charging premium prices, the quality should reflect that.
The one positive I will give credit for is the white chocolate brownie — it was absolutely delicious.
Unfortunately, I would not return, nor would I recommend it. If it’s under the same ownership as Elevation 486, that’s surprising, because Elevation 486 is consistently on point and delivers a much better experience.

Jacob’s Bar and Grill in Twin Falls is such a great spot with an awesome atmosphere and truly fabulous food. It’s the perfect place to stop after work to grab a cocktail and an appetizer with a friend, relax, and unwind.
The service is always outstanding — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Their cocktails are amazing, and you definitely need to try the steak bites… they are absolutely delicious. And the salad bar is back open and is to die for! Fresh, well-stocked, and such a great addition to the menu.

A great organic grass fed ribeye center cut steak. Nice presentation of all food. Massive baked potato, stuffed with real fat chunks of bacon not that shaker bacon bit garbage. I think if you want gourmet La de da food goto New York City … if you want a good hunk of steak, apps and nice servers hit Jakers. This was my first time in town and I threw a dart at all the steak places to eat and hit the dot.

I’m so disappointed in the quality of drinks we received. Me and a friend went for happy hour. Both our drinks were horrible. Even with the happy hour price of $3 off they were spendy for the quality. We left after 20 mins and went to another establishment. Apparently the bartender either didn’t care or was not trained. So if you are looking for a good happy hour Jakers is not the place to go ☹️

I eat in the bar. I never have to wait. Service is friendly and good. I’ve only had two meals I didn’t like, the prime rib tacos with jalapeños (was too too salty) and their dragon tails (chicken finger). The first time I had their dragon tails they were tasty. The second time not so much, they were plan and dry. I usually ordered the steak bites and mushrooms, fish tacos, calamari, or coconut prawns. My husband loves their bakers (baked potatoes) and creme brulee.

We waited along with a lobby full of other people that stated we would take a table in the bar, both times a table came open someone who just walked in would go stand by it and wait for it to be cleaned and sit. It seems like it could be more organized and had the hostest offer a bar table to the people who had been waiting 20 minutes. The spinach dip was very good, but thats the only thing that had any flavor. We ordered chicken parm, salad, and potatoes. My mistake I guess, when asked if you want everything on your potato that means ” loaded for an extra $3 bucks” I just wanted the normal butter and sourcream ? The side salad had water in it and it was terrible. Very expensive for what it was. I would have rather eaten at Applebees. I will not be back.

Visited from out of town and needed a burger badly. The clerk at my hotel recommended Jakers, so I ran right over. I was greeted, then made my way to the bar. I was greeted by the bartender and given a menu. I always order the basic burger before going all the way with the fancy stuff. I was happy to see they use SRF and Double RR meats. A big win. Burger was made just as I asked, but the bun was a bit cold and plain. Removed a star for that, but I would definitely return for one of the other burgers on the menu. Fries were cooked perfectly and all ingredients within the burger were crunchy and fresh. Had a pleasant experience overall. A nice place to hang out.

food and service were above average and amazing! We were never left with empty glasses or waiting on our waiter. The atmosphere is clean with good energy. All four of us that ate there really enjoyed what we got, starting with a cheeseburger, salad and soup, and time noodle with Ahi Tuna. Definitely a must go if you’re in the Twin Falls area. Good place the take a date. The prices are above average, but the food is also above average
