Our son was stationed in Niagara Falls, Canada working for one month and visited here several times. He was in love with the baked chicken penne, so on our visit we obviously had to stop here.

We arrive for lunch right when they opened, so the restaurant was relatively empty. Sat in the bar and Andrew was our waiter. He was excellent and very attentive.

For lunch, we had the baked chicken penne, Caprese, a cheese pizza and tiramisu for dessert. The Caprese was a generous portion, and very tasty. The tiramisu is some of the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend it. Additionally, I appreciated the fact that I was able to order from the diner menu as well as the lunch menu.

Downstairs there’s a large catering/party area called the Wine Cellar. Looks like a great place for a large event.

Overall, great food, and great service. Next time I’m back in the area I will visit again.

Another memorable dinner at Johnny Rocco’s. The management and staff make my husband and I feel special for every visit. They were able to accommodate our every request.
Would love to see a beef short rib and a lamb shank on the menu and a seafood pasta. It was great to meet Tony Visca tonight. Highly recommend Johnny Rocco’s

If you’re looking for Authentic Italian food outside the tourist loop, this is the place! Everything was fresh and made to order. The ambience and food were fabulous. The service and hospitality from the staff were wonderful. The building has a rich history of being over 100 years old. Make sure you go downstairs and check out the wine cellar. On Fridays and Saturday’s they have awesome live music. The restaurant’s soundtrack is great. We left there with full stomachs and hearts. Don’t miss the opportunity to dine here, you won’t regret it!

Nice atmosphere. Live music was great. Soup (Italian wedding) was very stale but waiter was helpful to get me some fresh ones. Eggplant parmagino was really not to my liking.
Side roasted potatoes were good

Ordered the pasta Alfredo and the lobster ravioli…
Both dishes were very good.
Garden salad was very nice as an appetizer free entree.. iceberg lettuce light balsamic vinaigrette olives onions and a tomato and some shredded cheese..
The tomato was a little sad dried out..

Food tasted great and came in good timing. Server seemed like he didn’t want to be working but everyone else was very nice and friendly and happy to be there. Overall decent dinner.

A group of 6 of us visited this location for dinner on Monday night. Had a great time, it was quiet because there had been a snow storm that day, but Andrew was thoughtful, accommodating and good fun as we muddled through our decision making for meals. The food was excellent, a few others came in from the cold for meals, we sang happy birthday to another patron and basically had a wonderful time! We have come here several times with larger groups and been treated well, good food and about average for food prices in restaurants these days. Two of us stayed on from our group until almost closing and we were never rushed to leave even though we were last in the building. Thanks, Andrew, for a great time, would highly recommend this restaurant for food and service!

Every time we’re in Niagara, my wife wants to go to Johnny Rocco’s for their Mushroom Ravioli.

We went and I decided to get the same thing and so did her cousin. The waiter has probably never had an easier order.

It is REALLY good.

In my review I only gave the food four stars. That is because our Caesar Salad lettuce was limp and really could have used some more garlic and lemon in the dressing. Maybe some fresh cracked pepper too? I know it’s not the main course but to me, the sides are part of the experience and to earn 5 stars, they need to stand out too.

We weren’t planning on getting dessert but when my wife heard Carrot Cake… we did. The carrot cake was spectacular.

Since she got dessert I decided to try a dessert pizza. It was very good. I got mine with vanilla ice cream… which was then right choice. Be warned, it’s a two person dessert.

We did sit on the patio. It was nice but it is a noisy intersection so a touch louder than we would have liked (but still worth sitting outside on a nice day).

We’ll be back. But I do hope they work on their Caesar salads.

The food here is good, not really worth the price in my opinion though. I feel like I’ve had better food at east side Marko’s which is cheaper and a more relaxed environment. The seating was horrible though… service wasn’t the best. The table we got was so crowded and our chairs were touching the booths across the table from us so I kept having to get up and move my chair if someone had to walk through.. a little ridiculous and they might want to re think their seats. Food was okay though. The roasted potatoes were so dry I needed ketchup..chicken parm is big but very thin. The arancini was really really good, but I was still hungry when I left. Just overrated.

We had a lovely dinner with my family, and it was a delightful experience. The food tasted authentic rich in flavor, well-seasoned, and served in generous portions. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and truly satisfying. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout the evening. The ambiance was cozy and pleasant, perfect for a relaxing family meal. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality Italian cuisine!
