Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Terrible. DON’T GO TO THIS LOCATION. Cold food and made incorrectly. Ordered double cheeseburger meal. It came with no cheese and fries were not filled up and everything was cold. Manager wouldn’t replace the meal. She offered me an apple pie in place of really cold food that was made incorrectly. Terrible experience. Should have gone to Freddy’s. Fries didn’t even have salt.

Despite the snowy chaos, they remained cheerful and efficient, quickly preparing delicious meals for a line of hungry customers. Shady location, never going back. I came earlier in the week to indulge in the combo meal with free kids meal had no issues. Today I returned. My total was $20.22. They charged me for the kids meal when it’s supposed to be free. I told them about the deal, they said they couldn’t give it to me free without asking. WRONG! I’ve ordered this a few times and never had to ask for my free kids meal! The sign doesn’t say to ask for free kids meal either.

We have a few whataburgers here in Colorado. They’re in Colorado springs, They just don’t taste the same whenever. I’m in Texas visiting family in Houston. I will always stop at a Whataburger. Their food is just amazing for fast food. So much better than out and in Burger. Yes I know it’s backwards. I don’t care

I’m from up north and I didn’t want to even try fast food while I was in TX but everyone talked about this place so I checked it out. Definitely glad I did. Big delicious burgers. Awesome shakes and dare I say better than Mcdonald’s shoestring fries. The best part the spicy ketchup. Great service too. The guy who took my payment and got my order outside was singing and friendly.
