The food however was quite tasty, cooked to our preference, and served hot and presentable.
The service was quick and friendly, however… no singing.
The dining room itself could use an upgrade. Our booth upholstery had several rips in the back and seating.
Overall, it was an okay experience, but there’s many other options at this price point that didn’t just barely meet expectations, but rather surpasses them – we’ll likely go elsewhere to said places.
Remington’s has a cool Indian sculpture which is an original Remington. That was great to see! The others are replicas. The dining room experience could use a little zushing up, it feels a bit dated and dark. The service was excellent,
My prime rib was a little too fatty even for a prime rib, but cooked to perfection. My husband had the chicken, which I believe is called chicken supreme. It was okay, he is not a fan of chicken on the bone, and it seemed to be the only chicken meal option ( there might have been a pasta one, but he didn’t feel like pasta), and by the time you remove the chicken from the bone, the portion size was a bit small. It would be nice to have a boneless chicken breast option on the dinner menu.
Our service was fabulous very attentive, and we didn’t feel pressured or rushed. We were there early, so did not get to hear a singing waiter/waitress. But that’s okay, we weren’t there for that.
Full transparency, we were there on a Groupon voucher which also offered a 3 course prix fix, 2 glasses of house wine and a cash back deal for a future visit. Overall, a pleasant experience, and value with the Groupon.
We may come back at a future date but there’s another local option we would like to try first, that is known for steak. Overall, I would say it’s good, and love the original Remington sculpture, but apart from the service not outstanding.
She warned me about the heat in the horse radish . Listen to her
Definitely going to make this an anniversary stop .
The restaurant itself is warm and cozy with a authentic western vibe
When we arrived, we were asked whether we preferred fireplace seating or windows table.
After choosing, we were seated and greeted by Kriatin, who was absolutely wonderful. We let her know we’d like the couples special menu, and she took the time to walk us through how it worked, along with other specials, in a way that felt genuine and unrushed.
The atmosphere was stunning- server’s were well dressed, soft spoken, and professional. Even though the restaurant was fairly busy for a Thursday night, evening felt calm and relaxed.
Our dishes arrived hot and beautifully presented.
Yes, there was a bit of a wait, but honestly, it only added to the experience
We never felt rushed and we’re able to truly enjoy our evening. Kristin checked in just enough to make sure we were taken care of, without interrupting our time together.
My wife had provided Kristin with sparklers for an upgraded dessert, which the restaurant kindly gave me on the house. Th3 staff even came by to sing happy birthday a very thoughtful touch and a perfect way to end the night.
We will absolutely drive the two hours to dine here again for future special occasions. Thank you Kristin for making my birthday such a memorable one.
We went with the fixed menu which included 2 glasses of wine, 3 appetizers to share, 2 entrees and 2 desserts.
Lots of choice for the appetizers and entrees. I’m not a huge wine lover, but enjoyed the house white Pinot Grigio greatly. All the food was so delicious.
The service was great with personalized recommendations about the local area as they knew we were not local.
The best part was the singing waitress who did different songs walking through the restaurant and she was excellent!
It was a special evening and they made it perfect!
The atmosphere was very nice and cozy and the waitress was not only prompt and pleasant but also sang beautifully.
Started with a nice blended red. (can’t remember what it was)
Crab cake was golden & crispy on the outside and chunky & creamy on the inside with a nice sauce that was tangy without being over bearing. The. Baked maple brie had walnuts and nice crispy baked bread which was the perfect medley of textures and flavors.
Calamari was nice and light and crispy on the outside without being overly greasy.
The prime rib with garlic mashed & veggies was absolutely delicious and tender and buttery and couldn’t have possibly been any better.
The New York strip also was very well done.
Both meats were cooked perfectly and were a good size. The dessert was also very nice.
Plus a $30 gift card for when we come back, which we certainly will! I can’t wait to get the surf and turf!!
