TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Came here for lunch. Guy at the register wasn’t exactly the happiest but he still took our order. Problem was when we asked for a drink he pointed to a poster on the wall that said “scan QR code to order” and mumbled to scan that to get a drink so we were confused. My husband came back and he said if you leave a review you can get a free milkshake. So here we are…. food is good. Crispy fries and good hot chicken! I’d come back just for the food. There were several tables left dirty that hadn’t been cleaned off yet so maybe service needs abit of work.

Efficient service, food is hot and crispy. Fries are yummy but nothing is that good. I’m not out here to hate on anything but the chicken just wasn’t it. I was starving and barely ate one of my two chicken strips. They are also really big strips so the crunch to chicken ratio is a little off. I couldn’t finish. I’m sorry I wanted to like this place. Also, the staff was friendly and gave me a free drink for the review 🙂

The food was decent. It came out hot and didn’t take too long. Customer service was great. The sliders were great. The waffles sticks were a bit greasy, but I’m not sure if this is typical or not. IMO it’s best to eat it hot and fresh when you first get it.

Person at register was exceptional, unfortunately that was the only things that was above and beyond. the food portion for the side of fried pickles was ridiculous. there were 12.. that’s not even a whole pickle, and for $5, smh. Everything was extremely salty, i couldnt even finish anything. I had a cauliflower slider and side pickles, no drink and it came to $15. NEVER AGAIN!!

First time visiting and the place was a bit busy. I will add that parking is horrible. We glanced over the menu and placed our order. The table was extremely dirty/sticky despite me cleaning it with sanitizing wipes. We got our food pretty quick. The chicken is great, definitely spicy and the size of the tenders are big. The slaw is good, would have preferred for it to be a little cooler and creamier. Fries were great, maybe a little too seasoned. The mac and cheese, very bland. Glad we tried it, but I honestly would not make the drive again.

Placed an online large pickup/carryout order and everything was ready on time. The chicken burgers and tenders were so juicy and flavorful and everyone loved them! And the fries were also seasoned to perfection!

Service was welcoming and warm. Food didn’t take long. Came out fresh and hot. I got #1 which is one medium and one hot tender. Hot was pretty spicy if you like drinking lots of water and too much pickle taste. Medium was perfect, not too hot, similar to wingstop mild. Would recommend if you like hot chicken
