Wow. Wow. Wow. We were so happy with our choice to dine here! There was a slight wait, but they had drinks for purchase while you wait and even a mini grill.
The food was wonderful. Fresh fresh local fish and healthy options.
They had live music and the restaurant is by a channel. They had a nice amount of parking too.

Absolutely loved our experience at Spear Fish Siesta Grille! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can really tell they take pride in their dishes. The seafood was outstanding, and everything came out hot and beautifully presented.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal with family or friends. On top of that, the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

We were visiting on vacation and randomly found this restaurant while on Google maps. When we walked in we were told the kitchen was shutting down early (in 10 minutes) due to weather. They weren’t rude about it and gave us the time we needed to go over the menu.
The pulled pork sammy and fries were super delicious! My wife enjoyed the shrimp tacos as well. They let her sample multiple sauces to drizzle over her tacos. This is why we love mom and pop shops and not corporate restaurants.
The staff was super friendly, chatted with us while they cleaned up and tended to other tables.
Had it not been freezing out with super crazy winds the atmosphere would have been even better with some outdoor seating. 10/10 would recommend and come back again!

You HAVE to eat here! Best veggie tacos I have tried! We ate at many of the restaurants in Siesta and this was a FAV!! All the food was fresh & so tasty! Will be back here again no doubt. Jay was also a very lovely waiter! He brought my baby girl crayons and the biggest sheet of paper to draw on! He was very kind & kept checking in on us! It was a lovely atmosphere & environment! Please check them out!!

Impeccable fish. So fresh, seasoned perfectly. And cooked just right. I tried a little bit of everything on the menu. And morning disappointed. Such a great selection. Great tiki vibes with band also. Good drinks menu. Will come here every time we are on Sarasota area from now on. They even had a green egg out front where they were smoking ribeye, pork chop, and other goodies that weren’t on the menu.

This is a decent seafood restaurant on the water but not really waterfront dining. It’s good but not amazing. I can recommend the gumbo as an appetizer, it was almost as good as NOLA gumbo.
The hogfish I had was blackened but not really blackened. Blackened seasoning is a spicy, pepper forward blend that is crusted onto a dish through high heat. It was not blackened in the slightest and that was the most disappointing aspect. The hogfish itself was good fish, bun was good, tartar was good. The black beans and rice lacked depth of flavor and seasoning.
Other dishes at the table and in the photos include triple tail and grouper fried fish and chips. A kids cheeseburger, chicken tenders, and lobster Mac and cheese. The lobster Mac and cheese was quite good with hearty chunks of buttery lobster. Triple tail was good, the fried dishes were fried well.
The French fries were really good fries, fresh potato flavor and crispy outside with a fluffy inside texture.
Overall, I do recommend Spearfish Grille UNLESS you’re a huge seafood aficionado and desire particular seasoning and spices on your seafood. I do think the dish I had lacked depth of flavor and seemed to be heavily under seasoned.

Great food! The hog fish was perfectly prepared with very tasty beans and rice. The sushi nachos are a must appetizer. Everything works so well together in them. Our server Jada was lively and recommended great food with the service to match.

It’s been 3 years since our last trip through town, but we remembered the tuna tower and the tacos. Rolled in late, no wait, food was great. I had hogfish fish and chips – really nice fish. Everything was tasty and cooked perfectly. We look forward to our next visit.

So happy we found this place as it was rated the highest in the area. The reviews speak for themselves. Better yet you need to come in and try the food for yourself. The tuna nachos are a MUST try. Shout out to Adriana and Giovanni for making the experience that much greater.
