The food is amazing here! I went here twice today and both times I loved the food. Sad that this is the last Shari’s in the Treasure Valley, I hope it stays. It’s a staple of my millennial childhood ❤️

I wanted to go to Shari’s Cafe before it closed down for good. It had been quite a while since I visited Shari’s and I saw other locations close for good. I figured it was not going to be long and this one would close too. Me and my kids love the diner experience and hate losing cafes like these. We went and had a great experience. The waitress was awesome and top notch in everyway. She told us that this Shari’s has new owners and is staying open. We were happy to hear that. The food was good and the waitress was very good at her job and was fast, friendly and mad us feel like valued customers. I will go there again for sure and hope they get the needed business so they stay open and we don’t lose places like this forever.

I’ve eaten at many different shari’s locations offer the years and this one jist isn’t good. Customer service was lacking and food was poor. I got breakfast with pancakes. Bacon and loaded hash browns were pretty good but eggs (scrambled) were undercooked and the pancakes were over cooked to where I could barely cut them with my fork.

The plate portions where bad. I paid $14.69 for 2 eggs, 2 bacon slices, 2 toast and some hash browns. The eggs in my kids platters supposed to be scrambled and both of the places had runny liquid egg it was gross they didn’t eat it. Same thing happened with the sausage it was raw and the hotcakes were so hard pretty much left all the food in my daughter’s order, she order a sampler and only ate 1 piece of bacon and the hash browns because the scrambled eggs weren’t cooked right, the sausage was raw and the hotcakes were so hard. The server was nice, but the food was horrible and the portions of the plates were baby size. Not, good. The picture shows what I got for almost $15 USD.

I have frequented this Sharis many times. The service is always amazing. I really like the cozy environment. I got the Brioche French Toast! It was so yummy. I do not think I recommend getting it as a combo as the side of sausage and egg was a bit pitiful but the main entre French toast was so yummy

The atmosphere is very welcoming and nostalgic, almost like grandma’s house.
The food is good, too! I love breakfast for dinner and really like their stuffed hashbrowns. I was excited when my food showed up, because it looked so good. The omelet was good, the pancakes were great, and the steak was decent. Unfortunately, I have yet to try one of their pies, I just get too stuffed!
The server tonight was always hustling, quickly moving from task to task, and he appeared to be completely unbothered by the nonstop work he was doing. He did accidentally bring me a dirty glass, but it was a small mistake and he did a good job.
I have received good service on both occasions I’ve come here. I will come back when I stay again at the hotel next door.

Used to be my go to place. Now I will not go back.
Sometime in the last month, they raised their prices, lowered portion amounts and the quality of the food has changed for the worst. Everything tastes frozen, out of a box…etc
The club sandwich is now a ⅓ of the size it was in December and the price went up by $4. A cup of coffee is now $4 and it is nasty. It tastes burnt and stale all the time.
As far as the restaurant itself…nothing has been updated in years and it is becoming disgusting to even sit and look around. I don’t think they have deep cleaned or even done more than a surface clean in months.
Not sure what happened, but I do not recommend this establishment anymore.

The food was not good and it took FOREVER to get our food. Our waitress actually LOST our order and we had to reorder. They actually charged me 2 dollars for strawberries on the French toast even though the French toast had strawberries on the menu. The French toast was tough and soggy. HOW? I’m afraid that I might be giving them too much grace because I had the food when I was famished and food taste better when you’re hungry.

Our server was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant furnishings are dated. Other than gluten free pancakes, choices for people with allergies are few. Dinner was tasty and the cherry pie was delicious. For a quick meal, we recommend.

2 of went to eat there . Had hot asked for honey and none, then had to change my order 4 times because they did not have one or more of the items. We each got soup with cheese and the soup we got was cold and i had to adk for my side of sour cream 3 times. Got a chicken platter never was asked what kind of dipping sauce we wanted. Also no ketchup on the tables or even brought to the table for our fries. Then, to add to it we had to ask for our drinks to be refilled several times coffee and hot tea. While you could here the staff laughing and telling jokes to each. Never was asked if we want desert or pie. And we had to got to the register to get our receipt. And ther was maybe 6 takes in use! I missed the old Shari’s. Probably will not be back
