Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Great experience at Whataburger! The service was friendly and fast, and everything came out fresh and exactly right. Manager Lupe was awesome. You can tell she really cares about customers and runs a great team. She made sure we were taken care of, which made the visit even better. Definitely coming back!

I ordered the Monterey Melt and it was so good. The beef was juicy, the grilled peppers and onions had great flavor, and the melted cheese pulled it all together perfectly. The customer service was also really friendly and quick, which made the whole visit even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

However, all the food is tasty and hot never have I experienced poor quality food.
The restaurant is very clean including the bathrooms.
Staff is great, I especially would like to mention two staff members who at times go above and beyond.

Worst location in America. Bunch of little kids with bad attitudes that can’t do anything right. Today’s my last day at this establishment and will be in touch with cooperate. Bought 4 piece tender and tenders are old and dry and gave me enough gravy for 2 tablespoons. Get real

When a customer asks you for a specific order JUST do what they ask . The customer is paying for the meal . NOT YOU MANAGER. I simply asked you to replace the bun of my breakfast on the bun sandwich with a jalapeño cheddar biscuit. Instead of accommodating my request . You argued me that it’s the same thing as a Jalapeño biscuit. It’s not . Do what I asked you to do . Simple. I am the customer paying for the food . The breakfast on the bun has a larger sausage patty and when you make customer orders your orders come out fresher because they aren’t premade . Thanks for ruining a pregnant woman’s appetite. It’s literally the only thing I wanted for breakfast and your staff couldn’t take simple orders .

Drive trough took 40 minutes and the still forgot items so I had to go inside and food was cold. Horrible experience. Whataburger used to be good but now seems like they move in slow motion, forget items and don’t care that they are slow and don’t get the orders right.
