Such a cute spot! Great food, fast service! We came on a Sunday expecting it to be busy and having to wait a while, but they were able to get us a table in just a few minutes. Our server Jackie was great! She was helpful with all our questions. Will definitely come back!

My husband and I had brunch at The Flying Biscuit Cafe on Wednesday, Christmas Eve, and everything was absolutely delicious! It brought back memories of the last time I dined at one of their locations in Atlanta some years ago.

We both ordered the Smoked Salmon Scramble which comes with three scrambled eggs with chopped wood-smoked salmon and dill cream cheese. We both decided to get the moon-dusted potatoes and I ordered a side of grits. I asked for the hollandaise sauce to be put on the side of my potatoes instead of on top, and my husband opted out of the sauce altogether. The sauce added a nice touch, it was very tasty. The dish also came with their infamous fluffy flying biscuit that comes with your choice of butter or cranberry apple butter, or both. The cranberry apple butter is delicious.

We were seated right away. For the day before Christmas it wasn’t busy at all. Our server was so friendly and helped us to decide on what to get and she was spot on! Everything was great.
It’s a very casual atmosphere. A place where you can get a great meal and sit and socialize when you’re done.

The Flying Biscuit Cafe was a restaurant that came up in my searches to stop by and check out. Glad to say it’s a great spot for a morning breakfast stop.

Service was a bit lacking on my visit: server never came back to add additional items or a refill, nor was I able to check out without asking for assistance. So you better speak up if you need something. Hopefully the next time is better.

The noise level is on the higher side, you can get a preview from the videos I posted. But in its defense, it’s shows how much of a local favorite it really is. So I believe this is to be expected. So this could go either way depending on location and or customer.

For time and rush reference:
My visit wasn’t during the prime breakfast hour, I actually arrive an hour before the beginning of Lunch.

The food was good, great flavors, fresh. Would definitely order it again, and look forward to trying more on my next visit.

I would say the dishes are more tradition breakfast comfort foods such as:
Waffles, Hash, Biscuits, Eggs, Gravy, French Toast, Omelets, etc. So they have a little of everything to fit what someone may be looking for.

It’s definitely worth a visit and a much better choice than the fast food alternatives.

How was your visit?

Do you have a favorite item we have to try?

Until next time.

Service and food were great. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. It’s tucked in Memorial but worth the drive from Pearland. Dawn was our server and she was amazing. Her recommendations were spot on! I had the build your own grits and hubs had the stuffed French toast.

Per my picture you can tell that I loved it! I got the dirty chicken with over easy egg and my mom got the eggxtravaganza. You can’t go wrong with whatever option you choose. Parker was our server and did great with the recommendations. Food was out pretty quickly even though the place was packed. 10/10 so come out and try.

We visited Houston for three days and this was the best breakfast we had on our trip. The bacon was crispy and lean, the pancake was fluffy, and biscuit was delicious. Ashley provided great service.

This is the best place to go! We had a large group of us coming from the airport and they let us keep our luggage here while we waited for time to pass to check into our Airbnb! Would recommend 1000% :))

The Flying Biscuit Cafe absolutely exceeded expectations from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the energy was warm, welcoming, and upbeat without feeling chaotic. You can tell this place runs on genuine hospitality. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great suggestions and checking in at just the right moments.

The food was outstanding. Everything tasted fresh, intentional, and thoughtfully prepared. The biscuits truly live up to the name — fluffy, buttery, and perfectly balanced with that light golden exterior. They’re easily some of the best I’ve had. The creamy grits were rich and comforting, and the eggs were cooked exactly as ordered. You can tell they pay attention to details in the kitchen.

What really stands out is how well they execute classic breakfast and brunch staples while still making everything feel special. The flavors are bold without being overpowering, and the portions are generous but not excessive. Whether you’re in the mood for something savory or slightly sweet, the menu has range and delivers consistently.

The atmosphere is casual but polished — great for a relaxed weekend brunch, a business breakfast, or just a solid weekday start. It’s the kind of place that feels reliable, like you know you’re going to leave happy and satisfied every time.

Overall, The Flying Biscuit Cafe is a must-visit if you appreciate quality ingredients, strong execution, and genuine service. I’ll definitely be back and would confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a great brunch experience.
