Let me say this, hip place and nice twist on traditional Mexican breakfast, but the chilaquiles can be better, it’s not the same type of flavor as some of the more traditional places, it still okay. I love the drink selection, the horchata iced coffee was a nice touch. Sausage was a bit on the dry side and don’t know why the sides came before the main dish.

Service was great and was able to be seated within 10 minutes of arrival. Parking was easy to find with a lot located directly behind the restaurant that was relatively inexpensive. Ordered their shrimp & grits dish with some orange juice; dish was fresh and extremely flavorful and the orange juice had clearly been fresh pressed as it tasted significantly better than your average, out the bottle orange juice. Amazing spot; would highly recommend!

Basic! Ordered take out 2 sandwiches a fried egg sandwich and spicy chicken biscuit. I say basic because the fried egg was 2 eggs 2 pieces of sausage between a brioche bun, no sauce, no mayo, no nothing just plain sandwich. Same with the other sandwich a big piece of fried chicken between 2 biscuits no mayo or anything just dry biscuits. We had 2 sides of crispy potato’s and they weren’t cooked all the way. Maybe the experience dining in is better but I was so disappointed I didn’t even finish my food.

I cannot even begin to tell you just how AMAZING this place is. The food and hospitality was just INCREDIBLE!!! We had the opportunity to meet Antonio, the owner. He is so charming and so dedicated to his restaurant and patrons. It comes through with his food. Brilliant!!!!

OMG!!!! This place is EVERYTHING!!! The first thing I noticed was the atmosphere!! The he music is on point!!! The vibe is a whole vibe!!! Family owned and operated The Nest is a must when in the area… let’s be honest it’s worth the drive. Now let’s be clear pack ur patience and don’t show up hangry because you can’t rush this type of perfection. The attention to detail and the effort in the service is phenomenal! I had the bacon waffle and crispy potatoes and the og flight!!! I had to stop myself because my own one fat girl knew she was full but my mouth wanted more!!! The biscuits and gravy were seasoned to perfection (I ate some of my husband’s… and my brothers lol)
This fed my soul. No The Nest slander will be tolerated!

This place is a MUST for your breakfast and brunch needs. Everything from the service to the food was on point. I’m usually someone that struggles to chose between sweet and savory dishes but the way their menu is laid out, I was excited to find out I could order potato tacos and get a side of French toast! Love this spot. 2nd time here and the 2nd time is just as amazing as the first. Today we had the short rib poutine and gravy and biscuits.. BANGIN!!! Service is always outstanding and the vibe here is lit. We were fortunate enough to meet the owner Antonio today and what a beautiful..kind and authentic spirit he is. The coffee is amazing….the music is always nice. Definitely do NOT sleep on this beautiful spot in Bellflower.This is truly good for your soul food.
