For food we ordered a cheese steak from the cheese steak place and an Asian noodle bowl from the Asian noodle bowl place.
Both were decent. The cheese steak was a good size and had a lot of meat in it. However, it would have benefitted from a bit more cheese because it was a bit dry.
The garlic noodle bowl was also good but was too soy saucy and not garlicky enough. Other than that it was fine.
For the price both items were just okay as it isn’t the cheapest. Both of these items and a diet coke cost us $38.
It is a fun place to go for events and drinks and such because the atmosphere is cool and they do have fun events. There was a galentines event upstairs the day we went. And there is a lot of food options. However, don’t expect outstanding food.
Convenience:
Ordering online is also an option, whether or not you choose to eat inside. The vendor will notify through automated txt messaging when order is ready to be picked up at their counter.
My son and I enjoyed the noodle restaurant-everything was cooked fresh to order and had great flavor. My husband and daughter had Cluck Norris-the chicken, onion rings and fries were all amazing. We all like pickle chips deep fried over pickle spears, but the batter tasted good. They have a central bar where
you can get beers or cocktails, too.
We have gone to Budd Dairy Food Hall multiple times for a happy hour after work, and it has quickly become one of our favorite spots. The rooftop bar is absolutely the highlight — great ambiance and perfectly set up for groups. It’s one of the best places in Columbus for happy hour drinks, with a laid-back vibe, good food options and a a set up that feels welcoming but never overwhelming.
The bartenders were friendly, quick, and really knew their drinks. Everything was mixed perfectly, and prices were fair for the quality. What makes Budd Dairy stand out even more is the variety of food vendors inside the food hall. Everyone in our group could pick something different — from tacos to flatbreads to desserts — and we all met back on the rooftop to enjoy it together.
The entire place is clean, lively, and clearly well managed. Between the energy, the food options, and the unbeatable rooftop atmosphere, Budd Dairy is easily one of the best places in Columbus for your meet ups. It’s perfect for coworkers meeting after work, date nights, or weekend hangouts. Highly recommend visiting any season as they sort of shelter the rooftop area from the elements and have it heated in winter.
