Enjoyed the Texas 2 step with two steaks (some how one came well done and the other medium well when we requested medium well for both). The blackened green chili was good and my husband enjoyed his red chili (he wished they had Fritos). He ordered green beans so I got the stuffed chile relleno (I would not get this side again because I was not a fan of the type of cheese s not homemade pico). Nathaniel was our server and he did a great job. We enjoyed the cornbread. We will return.

The steak was more fat than meat and wasn’t very tender. The fried jalapeños were okay, but some tasted a bit like some sort of chemical. Our waitress didn’t seem very interested in waitressing but we eventually got everything we ordered

4.3 stars. 1st time to eat here. Business lunch for party of two. Business partner had Lunch Catfish ($13.49) and Sweet Tea ($3.29). I had the lunch Rainey’s Grilled Chicken Salad ($14.49). We split a Shiner Bock Fried Mushrooms ($8.99) appetizer. Complimentary rolls were warm and delicious. Server Kelly R was great! Food was very good too. Total with tip was right around $52.
Would recommend as a spot for future business lunches due to value proposition and setting.

My husband and I came here tonight to celebrate our first married anniversary, we live right down the road and pass by this place all the time and wanted to try it. Oh my were we disappointed, a couple bites in my husband said “you don’t have to eat it babe, we can pick up something else on the way home”. We both got the sliced sirloin and mine was all fat, and the fat was not good at all. The only thing decent was our appetizer, but it was nothing special. Service was fast and our server Brooke checked up on us often. We didn’t want to make a fuss, we were celebrating a beautiful day, but we definitely won’t be back!

Food was a little average, I expected more from a steakhouse to have people who knows how to cook a steak without cutting into it like they did mine. My waitress didn’t seem like she cared for since i was by myself, she never got me bread I assumed it was cause I wasn’t part of a group she claimed she asked but do you really need to ask someone if they want bread at a steakhouse? Just bring it out. I never got my silverware and I waited for her so I can ask to have A1 but she never came so I went to a table and got it myself. Overall she seemed nice but she was more attentive to the tables with more people. I ended tipping her 22% only because I wanted her to know a single person can tip well too. First experience was very underwhelming and will just go to Texas Road House instead, the place that you don’t have to ask for bread and you don’t have to get your own sauce where you’re treated equal.

My wife and I have date night EVERY FRIDAY, this night we chose Hoffbrau. We were seated almost immediately and assigned a server named Johnathan. He was very pleasant with conversation and service in general.

Food is basic, and nothing special. Staff is always pleasent and respectful. Wait is a bit long but the prices are way over the top. Most expensive steak house around. You can get 2x the Oz steak at texas roadhouse, or logans. Steaks are underwhelming and bland for what they charge. Its basically a bar I guess. Even the smoked sausage is barely smoked, almost liquid smoke ish, and also overpriced as heck. It’s sad because I live super close to this establishment. It didn’t use to be that expensive but they leaned hard into covid and never went back. Best bet is texas, or Logan if you have to, but not here

Ordered family pack grill chicken, tastes ok but slight on the dry side, the three steak lunches barely had any flavor to it and lack beef juice for it…guy brought it out was professionally nice…
On the really negative side of this place.. 1130am picking up Togo, two girl servers at front unwelcoming, chatting with each other, not voicing to serve until I has to walk all the way in to the bar and stull ask them personally for assistance… Most unlikely to return here while other steakhouse with better overall (TXRH)
