Third time trying since the new manager took over. Never again. Staff is friendly, but that’s about it. Never got any refills, though this poor woman is running her tail off. No clean plates. No silverware. Kitchen staff is putting fresh food directly on top of old food. Barely anything in the pans. Never had rolls the whole time we were there. Air conditioner must be broken as well. Baton Rouge one is amazing compared to this location. I’ve given it enough tries and we just won’t be coming back.

Nate’s doing a great job on making things better! Food was great for the price, they got rid of those faded yellow and red plates and started a facelift, they got rid of the chocolate fountain but still serve chocolate drizzled treats, employees were busy/moving the whole time… keep up the good work! We very much enjoyed our splurge and we appreciate all of the effort you’ve put into making GC a better experience!

We went around 2:00 p.m. so this was the downtime where they don’t change any food out at all not until around 4:00 or 5:00 p.m. when they know they’re about to get a rush which I think is very bad because you should always try to please customers know many how many come whether it’s a small amount or a large amount. When I tried to get some soup all those soup was like gummy because it didn’t have a lot of liquid in it at all they had just let it cook and never reworked it or anything to give it a good presentation. As far as the back of the house you can see behind the meat area where the main buffet table was that the open flame grill was very nasty and the regular flat grill you couldn’t even see the grill itself because they had so much blackness on it and the floor was terrible The service workers behind the counter were leaning on the tables when they should have been trying to wipe things down and keep things clear especially when you have clients customers that are looking at everything as they’re getting their food. I give them a rating of three on presentation of a Golden corral restaurant if you want to see a Golden corral restaurant that’s clean and very nice good service Beaumont Texas has one of the cleanest Golden corrals that I have seen but I will say this The general manager just arrived there 4 months ago and he was all over the place as far as getting things together and cleaning and wrapping things up and trying to get them motivated I don’t know if he’ll have to get replacements in order to present Golden corral in the Manor in which I think the corporation wants to have it but he seems like a guy that’s going to try to make some changes.

We have made two recent visits and both went well. We did notice a slight difference in the food, but definitely nothing to stop us from going.
Plenty of food at a decent price.
Gave 4 stars for now, we will have another visit and will see what happens!

Worst buffet I ever had. I go many buffet places regularly but this one is the worst. They charged around $55 for 2 persons without drink on christmas day, I understand. However, they had not refilled many items for hours even after notifying them. Very limited items. No special items. The servers in the grilling area had untied long hairs and were not not wearing hair mask or gloves. Handling pork and beef in the grill with same utensils. Worst potato salad. One shrimp item was not refilled once. I heard people were saying, I want refund. Waited for 25 min for beef steak. Fruits felt like cut days ago. No glass for ice punch. No shushi bar. I went Texas branch, that was great. But it is very bad. Not going here again.

We where greeted at the door by Mrs. Tierney asked our drink orders and asked if we would like cash back for our server. I have never been asked that before and as a server I greatly appreciated that, unfortunately I do sometimes come in forgetting cash and have to come back at the end of my meal to get a proper tip for my sever. Our server was attentive and timely despite the Sunday rush. The food was warm and tastes good. The atmosphere is recently remodeled as ive read and is a modern bright look.

Hands down the biggest disappointment ever. We went for Christmas because they were open. YOU CHOSE TO WORK ON THIS DAY!!! The buffet was absolutely pathetic. MOST of the dishes were empty and the few that were there looked like they had been there all day. The employees were hardly attentive to the buffet. Too busy chatting it up in the kitchen. The waitress was great and was clearly working her butt off. Hopefully she finds a better place to work. $100+ for us to dine at this awful place. Never again.

Went on Christmas Day because they were open. Limited food choices, staff seemed to have attitudes. Understandably it was a holiday, but you decided to open, your customers shouldn’t suffer. The only positive experience was the waitress, who was very friendly and helpful.
