The freshest salsa! It’s spicy, fresh tasting and I think the best around here. It’s worth coming for just the chips and salsa alone, but the tacos are great here as well as the other dishes. Since it’s close to downtown Saint Paul, the clientele can be a bit rough at times. Not great for little kids, but the staff is very sweet and friendly.

Down home, no frills, easy going Taco joint. They have something on the menu for everyone, even the gringos. The tacos come in the cutest boxes (pictured) and the al pastor is absolutely delicious. I think the prices are slightly elevated, but I was happy to pay it when the food is that good and when it’s actively snowing 8+ inches.

I grew up going to Taco House – the food is always fresh, the people always have the best smiles and the kindest vibes. For 20 sum years the consistency has never changed! Never once have I been disappointed either! Definitely a go to spot!

Service was great, even as it started to get busy. Had Los Dos Amigos with steak, and a house margarita. Partner had an enchilada. Both were delicious. Loved how cozy it was with the fireplace and the lights dimmed a bit. Thank you for a lovely Tuesday evening!

In my opinion this is the best taco place in the twin cities the fried flour tortillas are different from any other venue The size of the tacos are huge and the flavor and seasonings are amazing

I honestly have no idea how this place gets the reviews it does. The food is incredibly subpar (probably the worst Mexican I’ve had in the last decade), the ambiance inside the restaurant is horrible and the staff is flippant about your existence.
Ordered online. Order said it woudk be ready in 15 minutes. 25 minutes went hy with no text or email with an update. I tried to call. No answer… So I go to the restaurant and two workers are talking to each other. They initially ignore me. 6 other people are also waiting. The workers don’t seem to care. When I finally ask about my order, I’m told it hasn’t been made yet. 2 minutes later, it’s ready but the food is cold.
Food was flavorless and salty. Only decent thing was their spicy salsa.

Food was less then mediocre. The counter help seemed bored and unfriendly. Then there was the most awkward and uncomfortable wait for my food I have ever experienced. It didn’t take too long, but there was no music. It was silent. It was uncomfortable. So uncomfortable that I won’t ever go back to experience it again. That, and the food was nothing special. All around one of the most unpleasant experiences. I don’t normally go out of my way to post negative feedback. Unless it is deserved. GET SOME MUSIC IN THERE OR TURN A TV ON!!!

Ordered 2 tacos and some chips and dip to go, I decided to eat it 2 minutes or less after i got my food and it was cold, a beef taco and a chicken taco. Not only that but if you order spur cream, I had to build my taco before eating it, I thought I liked this store but I’m not sure if I ever really did. Sorry 🙁 I really am sad to give a bad review.
