Food & servive here is outstanding!! We arrived in town for the last 30min of Happy hour & our orders were promptly taken! We ordered our wings crispy w/ various sauce options on the side. The pretzel & cheese is definitely sharable. Pizzas were outstanding & drinks were strong! Several seating areas/ bar and a pool table as well.

A very cozy little pizza and wings spot. A sports bar vibe, loved the rustic decor and cozy vibes. Pizza was surprisingly very good. The wings were a nice surprise because they had a sweet bit spicy flavor. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

The pizza here is quite good. We ordered the house special with added fresh garlic. It was nice and garlicky and the thin crust was light and crisp. Knocking a star off the score for value. A large here (16″) was $44 so with tip you’re in excess of $50 for a single pizza. Maybe that’s just the cost of things these days, but it’s still quite a bit for a pizza.

Had high hopes considering all the good reviews i ordered spaghetti, pepperoni pizza, and a salad first was the spaghetti it was ready in 60 seconds or less which was really concerning this concern was valid it was watery and I’m guessing straight from a can to a microwave. Next was the pizza the sauce was next to none existent on the pizza the pizza was doughy and soggy which was confusing because the top was cooked. Finally the old salad which tasted left out very unfresh. On top of all this when the items were served each one had the receipt put directly onto the top of the food doesn’t take a genius to know that receipt paper is going to sink into marinara as well as being unhygienic for the server to touch the receipt with bare hands then place it in the food. Atmosphere though is definitely nice it’s what lured me into the pizza spot couple sticky floor spots from kids spilling soda but still nice atmosphere. All in all I’ll never be back just can’t justify the poor service and low standard of food I was served maybe I was just unlucky I don’t know.

This was a review I submitted when they sent out a survey and forgot to add it here.

John’s Pizza Works has a gem with married couple extra ordinaire Stephen and Amber!

Stephen took care of us first and sat us right in front of a giant screen a bit away from the crowd during happy hour. We ordered pepperoni rolls and some beers.

He was a delight. We then left to get ready for the night, brought two more people and got seated to his lovely wife Amber. Amber and I hit it off right away since we were both Capricorn babies and all! We ordered a few pizzas and some wings. She made sure our beers were never empty, and she is simply the sweetest! I had mentioned my birthday, and she brought us a huge plate of desserts LOL. We love this place so much we even came back for a few drinks the second night. We’ll see you next weekend for Super Bowl!!

Beautiful outdoor area to sit and be able to talk and experience a family fun pizza place. A mini arcade inside, outdoor TV with sports outside and delicious pizza . We came here a few years before and glad we made it back.

This place absolutely hit the spot for us on Christmas. We rolled in after a full day on the mountain, tired and hungry with most everything else closed. It was laid back and exactly what we needed. The food was great, not just “good enough”. Super satisfying, big portions, and just really well done.

What really made it were the people. The bartenders Whitney, John, and Nyesia were awesome. They were friendly and funny and on top of everything. They’re the locals you want to hang out with. The whole place has a great energy.

Definitely a place to go in Mammoth.

Good food, lots of choices. Good drinks. Busy place. Friendly staff. They were busy and running around table to table. I thought that the Italian sausage was a bit spicy. However, tge meatball sandwich was my favorite. Garlic bread was good too.

My husband and I ate in the bar side of the restaurant. I like the atmosphere there. It’s larger so there’s plenty of seating. They have two bars, a pool table and shuffle board and TV’s around the area. We’ve come here for years. This time we decided to order the Italian Sub Sandwich, it was the best I’ve ever had. It was plenty big for two people, you also get a lot of fries. The other side of the restaurant is also nice, perfect if you have kids. They have a nice outdoor patio connected to this area, it’s nice.
