My wife and I were recently in Phoenix and wondered upon this restaurant. We are so happy we did. Our server Robbie was fantastic and provided some of the best customer service in recent memory! Plus the food was pretty great as well.

Our food was ok. Salmon was overcooked and the spicy chicken burger was stiff. We had to wait for a while for half of our food although it didn’t seem busy on a Friday night. The best appetizer were the fried pickles. Robbie, our waiter, was awesome. He was kind, fun, and attentive.

These guys do it absolutely right! They have never failed us! Walking out of the joint, completely satisfied! And the service? The service is great!
Noel and Josh really Took care of us last night! They waited on us hand and foot! Valentine’s Day was absolutely packed and they had so many tables, yet they juggled it like professionals.

Our server Sydney was incredible;she was friendly, and attentive. The fish, and chips are the best I’ve ever had. The fish pieces are large, and fried brown. The Cajun fries are tasty with the right amount of spice,very crispy.The atmosphere is laid back, and fun. The walls have phrases, and names of travelers who dined within Angry crabs walls(epic sword, and sandals voice.) Angry Crab is a must visit.

The food and service were both wonderful! The “mild” option is the perfect temperature for people who can’t handle a lot of spice, but be aware that you do lose some flavor with lower heat (so ask for salt and pepper!)

We had the BEST meal here last night. We sat at the bar and totally loved our experience. Rachael was the bartender and she was awesome! The lemon drop martinis were on point!!!!! My husband I had both had snow crab leg boils. Sooooooo delicious! One the best crab boils in the country I’d say. And I’d know….wr have eaten them in just about every state . Can’t wait to go back!!!!!

I decided to try Angrt crab shack for the first time, especially since I love sea food. Let me tell you that I’ve had better tasting seafood from a roach coach. I won’t bore you with the details but the only thing good that I had was the cornbread. On top of that I received a very difficult phone regarding a sudden death in the family. I went outside on the patio to talk on the phone but I needed to take my medication. The gate was wide open to the parking lot and since I’m handicapped my car was parked right out front. Well I barely got to my car when the manager appears out of nowhere. With a negative accusing tone she reminds me that I still have a tab open. If they don’t want people leaving the premises they need to put out a sign. I’m 46 years old with a limp&cane. Trust me I’m not running anywhere. Maybe she should learn to ask questions. I spent a good deal of time on the phone with my baby sister crying her eyes out. Every 30 minutes someone came outside to make sure I was still there. I was going to wait till 10:59 exactly since they close at 11:00 to go inside and close my tab. I would have if they were not so rude especially the manager. That basically sums up my first and last visit to the Angrt Crab shack at Norterra. But really. You are better off going to Long John Silvers than this place.
