Very affordable Mexican food right on the beach. I’ve been here many times over the years with my family and the food has always been very good. The salsa is fresh and tasty with just a mild kick of spice. I featured Los Rancheros in an article I wrote for Brewhoppin many years ago highlighting local spots that were delicious and affordable and gave my highest regards to the Hot and Spicy burrito. It’s still on the menu thankfully but I tried the fajitas this time and was very satisfied. The portion size was very generous and the flavor was amazing. I put just a tiny bit of Cholula on them while they are still sizzling and it adds an extra kick of heat. Service was very friendly and our server made sure our glasses were never empty.

I am sorry, but the food is not Mexican it’s like Tex-Mex. The Chile relleno has pieces of pepper and the cheese is terrible, like cream cheese. Second time I make the mistake of ordering Chile Rellenos in Panama City Beach Mexican restaurant. They do not know real Mexican food sorry to say.

This was my first time visiting the beach location, as I usually go to the one in town. I had a craving for fish tacos, and since the nearby restaurant had a long wait, I decided to try this location instead.
When I ordered, I didn’t even look at the menu—I just asked for fish tacos because I’ve had them at the town location before and really enjoyed them. Unfortunately, I was disappointed as soon as the plate arrived. The tacos looked completely different from what I was used to and honestly didn’t look very appetizing. What I got was minced fish with just some pico on a tortilla, which wasn’t what I expected at all.
After checking the menu, I realized that what I got did match the description here, but when I compared it to the town location’s menu, the difference was pretty drastic. I’m not sure why there’s such a big change between the two locations under the same name, but these tacos were not good, and I left feeling like I wasted my money.
I really hope the beach location can get on the same page as the town spot when it comes to the seafood tacos.

Breakfast was great , we first went to waffle house which was slacking , we waited and waited …Im glad we decided to walk 1 minute lol to this place …the beans were delicious and the service was right on , we will be returning before our visit in panama is over — also the kids burgers were great

We have been customers here since I can remember. They have always been one of our favorite Mexican food locations here locally. They have watched me bring my daughter in almost weekly since she was old enough to eat because this is one of the few things she will eat. She has autism and sensory concerns. They know her name and great her happily every time we come in. All of the staff members have always been very kind to all of us but especially her. We feel welcomed and not judged for any strange things that she may do. They are a safe place for our family and we wish the rest of the world could be as kind.

The restaurant itself is very nice. You walk up to some cool decorations. The burrito meal wasn’t much of a burrito, the salsa that came with the chips tasted like it was pace pecante. I don’t think I would be back. The food looks good it just didn’t taste good.

First time eating Mexican cuisine in PCB! We went here based on decent looking Google reviews and close proximity to our condo and we were NOT disappointed!! We ordered 2 kids meals, a grilled chicken Burrito California, and the Pollo Poblano (which blew us away!!!) We are from WY and have some great, authentic Mexican restaurants. Los Rancheros was delicious! 2 for 1 margaritas on Sunday, service was great, nice atmosphere. We’ll be back!

BE CAREFUL ABOUT SPECIAL. 2 for 1 means 2 drinks at the regular price of 1. Not 1$. All waiters will say 2 for 1 but don’t go in detail to say 2 for the regular price of 1. Beans taste like tap water. Not the best food. Always ask questions.

Upon arriving to Los Rancheros we were seated in a timely matter and quickly attended to for our drink orders. The service was great and the menu was reasonably priced for a Mexican restaurant approximately a block from the white sand. My girlfriend ordered a beef burrito and I ordered two street tacos (one shrimp, one steak). While my review is a 4, I will say that this restaurant isn’t going to be the best Mexican option around, yet it still deserves credit where credit is due. My recommendation is for you to go between the hours or 3-6 and take advantage of the drink specials they have. The regular margarita was good but wasn’t quite as strong as I expected.
