So I was born and raised in Takoma Park and I never gave this place a chance. On Monday (December 22nd) I was in the area for work and I looked up and notice they were still there. I walked in and told the person in the front that i have never tried the food here and he told me if I ordered he would give me 3 free toppings. So I did and it was really good. The toppings were fresh and I would definitely go back. Please give this place a try

Pizza Movers is a big part of my family. My dad used to take me and my siblings here after school every Friday and since we moved it’s been a while since I’ve had it. I was in the area today and stopped by for a pizza and it’s just as good as I remember and it reminded me of my dad who has since passed away. I’ll always love this place, a Takoma Park staple! The staff is still nice and it’s so nostalgic that it still sits on the corner of Laurel Ave.

All I can say this was one the best pizza I’ve had in a while, when I say pizza this is what I mean hot, cheesy, enough sauce, it was good. The price is a little high, but you will not be disappointed. I wish I had a photo. I had a double pepperoni, the wings come with wedges as well, and the cold cut was good. I recommend and will be back.

I try not to ever leave negative reviews, but I tried calling them to discuss my feedback/concerns and they just flat out disregarded me and said they don’t care if there’s a bad review. It makes me wonder if they somehow get bad reviews removed from here – all of the reviews are amazing which is why I opted to try them out for the first time tonight. I was actually really looking forward to this! [ETA: you can read bad reviews, you just have to filter to see lowest first — please trust these bad reviews] But the food was extremely disappointing and the customer service (or lack of) just topped it off. Based on this experience, I would not recommend! Only thing that went well was that they got the order correct, which is the bare minimum. The wings are just reheated frozen wings and the pizza was not “the best in the DMV” as others claim. It was just bad. Not worth the $40+ for a medium pizza and wings. I feel like I got scammed.

If I could put zero stars I would. Awful customer service. Whoever was on shift 2/19/2026 at 5pm should get taught how to give at least DECENT customer service. First time ever calling and definitely the last.
