Family of three just passing through on a Saturday for a late breakfast.
Cozy diner with super friendly and efficient staff. Food came out quickly even though they were busy. We sat at the bar and everything was wonderful from service to food. It was so refreshing to be in a diner like this. Even the guys in the kitchen were awesome. Food came out quickly and the quality was outstanding. Not a single person seemed stressed. The diner itself was clean and the layout was very comfortable.

A true diner with counter seating. The food is hot and cooked to order. I didn’t taste “homemade” but definitely served hot and prepared with care. I tried the biscuits and gravy. I liked the peppery flavor. Not made from scratch but good. The hash browns were not cut on site but cooked perfectly. The pancake was delicious!!! If you are looking for hot and hearty this is a great option.

1st meal in Kingman, and it delivered.. I’m on a year assignment for the I-40/US93 project. Ordered the N.Y. Strip and Shrimp, with mashed potatoes and gravy, and the vegetables. Steak seasoned and cooked to the perfect medium, the mashed potatoes I could eat all day. The zucchini cooked perfectly, the shrimp was also tasty.
Service friendly, and fast. Looks like I have a year to go through the menu.

Excellent old school roadside diner, with parking, good service and good food!
We stopped here for a late breakfast when travelling from Sedona to Lake Havasu, and as we love the whole ‘old school diner’ vibe so much, couldn’t pass this place up! We were able to park out back easily, get a table straightaway (on a Tuesday).
It was spacious inside, with lots of Route 66 themed decor. We were impressed by the service, with the young chap being attentive, friendly and efficient. There was plenty to choose from on the traditional diner-breakfast menu. Our food came out quickly and was enjoyable, and the restrooms were clean too. Would definitely come back when passing through again!

My family has so much history on Route 66 from Santa Monica to Chicago and back to Santa Monica with many stops along the way. We love Rutherford‘s diner. It is our favorite restaurant on route 66. We love the great friendly staff, the excellent service and the amazing food.

Before hitting the road we stopped here for breakfast. We got seated immediately and order was taken promptly. Menu had a lot of options and I tried the biscuits and gravy and she had the Texas skillet. Both dishes were very good. Usually with biscuits and gravy there is more sausage in the gravy than this one had although it had a good flavor. We would likely come back when in the area.

This little diner does not look like much from the outside, it is adorable inside, the staff are so sweet and the food is top notch!! I ordered a Cobb Salad and they did not disappoint, not shortage of Bleu Cheese either. I ordered a side of fried mushrooms that are hand dipped mushrooms and are the biggest fried mushrooms I have ever seen, you will need a to go box for them.

This was my first time visiting Rutherford’s Diner, and it definitely won’t be my last! The breakfast was absolutely delicious – everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The portions were generous, and you can tell the food is made with care. The service was just as great as the meal – friendly, welcoming, and quick. The diner has a cozy, hometown feel that makes you want to sit back and enjoy. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in Kingman – a real hidden gem!
