First off, this place has the best wings anywhere around. The drums Are as big as chicken legs from most fast food restaurants these days. Tacos are awesome, chili is awesome, and the ranch seems like it’s homemade or something but it’s delicious… I could almost drink it with a straw. I’ve had the fried pickles, but that’s about it. I get the wings and the taco every time. I’m in there. Atmosphere is pretty good and there’s a pool table upstairs. I just wish they had onion rings.

Shelbyville has been needing a spot like Parlay Sports Bar and they delivered. The atmosphere is fun and family friendly and I love that they invited local families to bring in pictures of their kids sports teams for the wall. It instantly gives it that hometown feel. The wings are seriously the best I’ve ever had…crispy, flavorful, and they don’t charge extra for flats. I got the Sriracha wings and half plain with fries, and everything was delicious. It’s locally owned, the service was great, and it’s the perfect place to watch a game, grab food with friends, or bring the family. A must-try in Shelbyville, Kentucky.

This place has become a favorite of mine and my husband’s for Friday lunch dates. Great atmosphere. So far we have had all the wing flavors, fried pickles, fries, mozzarella sticks, all the taco variations, smash burger, breakfast burger, cowboy burger, and the fish. Every single thing we have had we have loved so much we can’t pick what our favorites are! We are looking forward to coming for dinner soon because their cocktail menu looks wonderful! Keep doing what you’re doing!

This is the first place I visited when I was house hunting in Shelbyville (Sept. 2025) Paige (the bartender) was polite and friendly, I was meeting with my realtor so we didn’t get to chat much. My next visit I was alone and asking a million questions about the town, she could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Since then she has introduced the new guy in town (aka me) to the staff the owners and other patrons making me feel right at home.
The food is very good and consistent, the creative cocktails are made with pride and the Guinness on tap is perfect.
However it’s the PEOPLE that make Parlay a great place to be! The owners come over everytime I’m there to say hello. How rare is that days?

Was excited to try Parlay. Average at best unfortunately. Smashburger was good, but way too salty. Chips were stale, didn’t finish. Tenders seemed to be standard Sysco frozen variety w fillers. Fries were undercooked, soft and flexible. The server also got one order wrong (we ordered a chicken sandwich not tenders) I also do not understand why an establishment would install daylight light bulbs which makes you look and feel like you are in a morgue. The warm white in the bar area is much more inviting. But that inconsistency seems to parallel the food. I hope they make improvements and wish them all the best.

Walking around Shelbyville on Sunday, trying to decide where to eat and found Parley, so we decided to try it out. From the start everyone was friendly, server was very nice and friendly, menu was just enough to make ordering easy, and the food turned out to be great! There were four of us in our party and everyone loved what they ordered. Smash burgers, salad, fries, Brussels sprouts were all very good. Smash burgers were a big hit! No Sysco burgers here. The watermelon picked onions were very tasty. We are so happy that there is another great place to go in Shelbyville for some good food and nice atmosphere! Over all, great food and service! We’ll definitely be back…hopefully tonight .

Start to finish a great experience. Hostess was quick & pleasant. Our server Berkeley was prompt and friendly. Wife had the smash burger & brussel sprouts. I had the cowboy burger with fries. Food was quick coming out and everything was on point. Really nice.

Great service. The smash burgers are fantastic. Fries were delicious and the brussel sprouts were good too, different to a New Englander. Have a beer and watch your sports! Play room upstairs, didn’t make it but sounds like a good time.

Ran across this place 2/6 on our way to another restaurant for dinner. Just moved to town, so excited to find new places. As we drove by, we saw some empty tables so we decided to stop. We like to sit at the bar, but any empty seats were being “saved” by other patrons with legs and purses, so we went to the hostess station. The hostess was putting her shift meal on a table up front and she then greeted us. We asked to sit at a table at the bar so we could watch sports. She seemed a little confused by our request, but seated us where we asked. After a few minutes we noticed no one had brought any menus or greeted us at the table. As we looked around, the bartender says, “If you sit there, you have to come to the bar to order.” We quickly decided we came to eat at a sit down restaurant, not a fast food style place and decided to leave. The bartender sarcastically said, “HaVe A nIcE nIgHt,” as we put on our jackets to leave. The hostess tried to explain as we we left that the tables were just added that day and they weren’t staffed. None of that was explained prior and the bartenders attitude was unacceptable. The food may be phenomenal, but we wouldn’t know because the staffs lack of knowledge and poor attitude. Won’t be back. Buyer beware.
