Social Profile:

In Italy, a meal isn’t just about eating. It’s a celebration of food, of wine, of the family and friends who have gathered at the table – in short, a celebration of life itself. At VIA, we combine this quality with the inventive spirit of a chef-driven kitchen and the comfortable, modern feeling of a city restaurant to create a place you’ll want to return to again and again. It’s no wonder that VIA was acclaimed Worcester’s best Italian restaurant and most romantic restaurant in recent media polls.

Sophisticated Italian comfort fare in chic, romantic surrounds, plus year-round patio dining.

What a great Italian experience! One of Worcesters finest restaurants it has to offer.

VIA’s location can easily be seen by its big golden lit up sign that can be seen at the highway. It is also on a street that is commonly known for it’s restaurants in Worcester. The parking is good as long as you ate going after work hours and even if so there is street parking.

VIA’s atmosphere feels authentic and modern Italian as it has dim lighting with candlelit atmosphere. This gives away to the brick and mortar style of the building which gives it more of a city Italian restaurant. The music was a bit all over the place from EDM to todays hits. Nothing vulgar but didn’t set the mood properly. There was plenty of seating but understandable to have a reservation as the dining room (and outdoor 4 season porch) filled up very quickly. The booths were a bit small but can be moved for better adjustment. The bathrooms are in the kitchen walking past the fresh and housemade display of the gelato giving you a glimpse of what the kitchen is like.

The service was attentive and took care of every thing that made the experience that much better. Our server was friendly and didn’t mind to have a small chat that wouldn’t have impeded others experience. There was another server that went through and asked us if we needed things that our original server had already asked us. The servers were nice, respectable, and relatable.

Our drinks we had was the Old Fashioned Sweet Potato and the Raspberry Mojito. Both were good and not too strong so that the flavors came through nicely. The thing that made it a good experience for me was the asking of what bourbon I would like with my Old Fashioned. That is next level customer service without any additional cost for substitution.

The food we had was pretty good and worth going back again to try other items. We started off with the house made Ricotta with local honey. The ricotta was creamy, smooth, and easily spreadable. With a local dab of honey all on top of homemade bread toasted on one side made it perfect for a starter to the evening. The main course was pretty good also with the Chicken Parm and Chicken Piccata. The Chicken Parm had a perfect amount of sauce and cheese topping with the chicken itself being perfectly fried that the chicken was still moist. The Chicken Piccata was cooked all little to long and had a slight chew to it with the breading not being to present. The piccata sauce was not too buttery but didn’t have to much lemon zest either. The sauce was good if you were able to get some from the bottom to have on the chicken. The capers and grape tomatoes are always a touch on the piccata that is needed. As for the noodles, they were fresh and tasted fantastic. For our dessert we had (of course) Tiramisu and Affagato. The Tiramisu was a good (little bit too much after dinner) portion. The lady fingers were not over soaked and the marscarpone was creamy. The coffee and rum flavors were very present throughout the dessert. As for the Affagato, 2 wonderful vanilla Gelato scoops with crumples of biscotti and with the Pirouline sticking out of the Gelato made the presentation amazing. With the espresso nice and warm and smells controlling the air around made a wonderful pour over the Gelato. The combination was nothing short of being a great affagato.

Overall, I will definitely be coming back to try other dishes and wines as VIA is what it means to have an Italian experience in the city of Worcester.

Came for the $10 lunch special for the month of January. The service was great even though it was so busy there. They were able to seat all 12 of us.

***Food Mood Note: They have Coke products here! Their Diet Coke passed the crisp test!

***I love a good casear salad and you won’t
find that here unless you like a block of lettuce grilled and soggy.

I’ve been to Via Italian Table before and liked how sophisticated architecture has it! Very stylish decor and wood accents. We ordered Brussels sprouts for appetizers and for main course we got Eggplant Parmesan and Sausage & meatballs pizzas, which all were very delicious! I loved how they made the eggplants and its texture. Also shoutout to our waiter “Wizard M” who was very attentive and professional.
I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a fancy italian place in the area.

We have been going to Via’s since they opened and they never disappoint. The food is wonderful and wait staff (Jeremy and Rob this time) are equally wonderful. The chopped salad is great but huge. I usually have them give me a small plate and pack the rest to go. Save room for the layered cake shown below for dessert. Only challenge is parking so we pick our time carefully.

We had a fantastic meal at VIA during Pig Fest 2025. Service was attentive, professional, informative, and pleasant. The atmosphere was old school and modern at the same time. Prices were quite reasonable. Now the good stuff – what we ordered: Rhode Island style fried calamari (included battered lemon slices!), pork belly, carbonara, porchetta, wild boar ragu, tiramisu, 15 crape cake. From the bar we had an old fashioned, raspberry mojitos, wine, and an espresso martini. We had a great time, departed with full bellies and leftovers for later. We will be back!

This was great. We had such a nice time. The food was all delicious! I got the rigatoni with roasted chicken but switched it to spaghetti, delicious. My husband got the scallops on top of risotto, also very good. We tried a couple of appetizers; the clams casino and prosciutto wrapped mozzarella. Very tasty, our main dishes come with soup or salad. We both got salad, the dressing could use some work as it was a little bland. Nothing special but tasty. They do give you complimentary bread and oil which was nice. We tried 2 desserts as well; the cheesecake and crepe cake. Both very good. As it was our anniversary they gifted us a scoop of vanilla gelato…which was soooo good. Honestly the best gelato I’ve ever tried. Between the 2 of us we got 4 drinks, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts. Came out to $250 after tip which was not bad price wise. We brought our entree and dessert leftovers home and ate them the next day. Would definitely go back again.

Great group dinning experience. The veal chop, amazing presentation and flavor was dynamite. The brussel sprouts were tasty. The Octopus dish was quite delicious. Get the grilled ceaser, great dressing. Good wine selection and decent price on the list.

We eat here at least 3-5 times a month. Consistently excellent service, vibes, and food! They always have an extra menu theme going on…I know they employ a nana to cook the chicken soup! We have never had a bad meal here! 10/5 stars. Ive been here with adult friends , my large family lots of little kids, and business associates. Not many places you can have such a great time with diversity, but they know how to seat, place is large enough they sort of section you in areas. So incredible!

Via Italian Table in Worcester is fantastic! You feel like you have stepped into the North End of Boston. Service is amazing from stepping inside and leaving.

I mentioned briefly to the hostess that there was a birthday boy with me, just as a small chat nothing more. At the end of the evening she told our server who brought out a bday gellato which was the perfect way to end the night.

The wine flights are recommend along with one of my favorite raspberry mojitos. Swordfish was cooked in parchment with the veggies which was excellent!!! Parking is a challenge since Shrewsbury St. gets very busy on the weekends with so many restaurants.

A reservation is recommended. You will really enjoy and not be disappointed.
