Dinner for two. Service was friendly. The quality of the food was not comparable to their Casa Linda location. We felt the quality of food at Casa Linda was exceptional.
Started with some hush puppies, which were OK but really hard. Had the shrimp and catfish combo with onion rings and a side of coleslaw and the shrimp and oyster combo with the same sides. The coleslaw was pretty good as was the small catfish filet. Although nothing to write home about either. The shrimp was tough and overcooked. The onion rings were also a big disappointment not near the crispiness or freshness or flavor of the ones I had at their Casa Linda location. In both locations, the sides they give you are never consistent. For example, one combo had cocktail sauce (which was still frozen) and the other combo did not. Not sure if I’ll try the Richardson location again.

Had my first fried oyster today and it was outstanding. 10/10 mom says these are the best onion rings she’s EVER had. I got the shrimp and scallop chef special and it was bon appetite indeed. She got the catfish basket and shrimp & sausage gumbo. Highly recommend giving this place a visit.

This was a lunch break today and what a great time for a lunch break . The fried shrimp and oinon rings were cooked to perfection. Add in some select hot sauce from the table and a good lunch just became great . We also had probably one of the best cooked hamburgers and fries ever. Our table also had the crab cakes and a shrimp poor boy. Tea and sodas plus any other adult beverages you want are available. Great music and plenty of TVs for the days football ⚽ events.

We would always drive by this restaurant but never stopped to try it because I’m really picky with seafood. My work colleague highly recommended it so we finally decided to try it. Our daughter ordered the shrimp boil ( medium) the shrimp were really big and the sauce was incredibly tasty! The corn was delicious and garlicky. We also ordered the chicken fried rice, which was really good and a good size. My husband liked the calamari but I wasn’t a huge fan. We came back 2 days later just for the fried rice! The 2nd time, the portion was more generous, however the side order of the corn and potatoes lacked flavor and the sauce was really tart instead of garlicky. I forgot to take pics the first day 🙁

Fast service. Good food. The chicken and shrimp fried rice was excellent. Grilled fish tacos were excellent. The catfish was thick and beautifully fried. The restaurant was busy at lunch. Plenty of parking at lunch.

The bartender named “Lois ” was very rude to my party and would not serve up and we weren’t even being a disturbance to the area around us. I think that we were treated so unfairly and treated with no respect and he was making inappropriate comments about the customers that were dinning at the moment.

I have eaten here a few times and usually get the amazing catfish. Always fried perfectly and great southern corn meal based batter. I tried the whole fried tilapia this time and it was so good, I might come back tomorrow. Always friendly staff and lots of condiment options.
