A+++ recommend!
Service 8/10
Ambience 9/10
Well known food influencers here for NC/NJ/NYC. Just want to start by saying they are definitely top 5 in the triangle and they are not #5. Coming from someone who eats at restaurants daily and are regulars at many places. Many local owners know us very well because we dine out and review restaurants daily. Typically I just post on my page but I’ve been thinking about this place since we left because they are so good so wanted to leave a review lol. This is a very nice place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHECKING THEM OUT
Now- We were a bit skeptical of the waiter at first but that changed after we finally ordered or after he saw the amount of food/drinks we ordered. He then became very attentive. We kept asking for a few minutes to look at the menu and he would return in seconds and was rushing us. There were also a few comments made, that made us side eye him. Got some excellent video content of this place and posted it on my page recommending that my followers check it out if they are in the area. Overall we rate them a 9.5/10. If the service was on point it would def be a 10. The food is the star of the show. We ordered a decent amount of food and drinks for 2 ppl. Was going to order a ribeye but the note about not guaranteeing well done so I went with the Salmon Picatta. To the owner whoever is in the kitchen, take care of them please lol. We also ordered other drinks (not pictured but very good).
Big shoutout to the main manager, Kathleen Fair. She’s honest, handles situations the right way, and genuinely cares. You can tell she’s a good person with a great personality, and it makes a difference in the overall experience.
Highly recommend Pierro’s if you’re looking for great Italian food and a place that treats people right.
He was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire menu, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made us feel completely taken care of without ever being overbearing. His professionalism, attention to detail, and warm personality set the tone for a fantastic night.
If you’re dining here, ask for Angel. He genuinely enhances the experience.
Some favorites:
Lobster carbonara
Chicken picatta
Gnocchi
The garlic knots are worth the visit alone. Rob makes a great cosmo.
The inside was clean and inviting, decorated beautifully, and I can’t wait to come back in the warm weather and sit outside. This place is perfect for a quick meal or a romantic date night. I will definitely be back! Thanks Rob!
The service itself wasn’t terrible, but the way the food issue was handled was very disappointing. I ordered the beef short ribs, one of my favorite dishes that I also make regularly at home. I was excited to find them on the menu, but the first plate came out with barely any meat mostly fat. When I asked for a replacement, the manager came out and explained that “the fat adds flavor.” While that may be true, I was paying $30 for beef short ribs, not fat.
The second plate wasn’t much better. The portion of actual meat was bite sized at best, and when I tasted it, the flavor was off. It had a rancid taste, which my mom also confirmed when she tried it. I let the waiter know the replacement wasn’t acceptable and asked if the meal could be removed from my bill since I could barely eat it. Instead, the manager only offered 10% off. That felt unreasonable considering I didn’t touch the meal beyond one or two bites.
This experience left me disappointed and unwilling to return. I used to love Pierro’s, but after this visit, I can’t see myself coming back
