The inside was beautiful. The service was excellent. We had Jeff in the drive through. He has good manners, was thoughtful by asking if we needed a cup holder to which I declined but later realized Jeff was right. And my husband loved the food and I am enjoying the milkshake currently after my dental procedure and not being able to eat much. Thank you so much!

Steak and shake is a great casual food restaurant. I enjoy the burgers, the fries and the shakes! The staff is usually pretty good. Sometimes they can be a little off but for the most part they do a very good job!

Visited the Tampa store at 1450 E Fowler Ave, and was so impressed to have tallow fries! Absolutely delicious, as were our burgers. Grabbed shakes after, too. Izzy took care of us and the whole staff was delightful and personable. Will be back again when in town!

Whenever I have a rough day, nothing lifts my spirit quite like the frank shake. Inspired by my all time favorite entree, the glushi at Kura Revolving Sushi Bar located in wetshore plaza, the frank shake is a protein rich milkshake that can be easily created with only two menu items! Just order a steak frank hold the mustard, hold the ketchup, and a shake of your choice (Reese’s for more protein). And simply unsheath the frank and insert it into the milk shake. The sweet umami flavor captured by this treat is unmatched. At roughly ~43 grams of protein, just 4-5 of these will easily help you crush your protein goals daily.

I tried to order a combo. I ended up getting charged for extra side and did not recieve the drinks I thought I had ordered. When I tried to get it rectified I was met with total disregard of my issue and instead was corrected and chided for how I used the ordering system. I find this computerized ordering system not user friendly. I ended up paying more and receiving less than what I wanted. I love the food at Steak and Shake but I won’t be returning anytime soon. I’ll probably choose burger king simply because the ordering is hassle free. And I won’t have to scan a receipt to get a drink. I can refill at my leisure.

Complete joke. I ordered for delivery get the notification order accepted and will be delivered in 30 to 40 min. Another notification shows credit card has been charged. Cool. Hour later get message order canceled. Huh ?? Says to call store. Ok. So for the next hour I called 12 times and no one will answer. So hours later no food and I’m still out the money with no refund.

Came over here at night and cashier Asia didn’t felt like she was on her mood.. she was rushing at first for me to take my order I understand we came in 30 minutes before they close but we was hungry and this location it’s the only one in that area that was open and that cook in Beef Tallow because we don’t eat seed oils.. fries was soggy and sold like they re dropped them.. burger wasn’t all of that either..

I’m writing this on behalf of my husband. He hadn’t been to Shake and Steak in years and said this was one of the best meals he’s had in a while. The restaurant was impeccable, the service was friendly, and the shake was great. Highly recommended burger joint.
